Well there is a good chance i have a torn labrum in my shoulder and will need surgery. The surgery will cause me to spend 6 weeks in a sling and 3 to 4 months in physical therapy. I have been doing a bit of research on steroids and was wondering if using an anabolic steroid to help speed up recovery time would be worth it. Most of the articles ive read say that using the roids will reduce your recovery time by half. I would just like some of your thoughts.

Professionals do it all the time, some get caught, but obviously there are benefits to doing it. Their circumstances differ slightly because the longer they're out, the more millions they lose... Most of the research I've seen is only on prolonged use and as such the side effects may not be that daunting, but the risk is still there. Why the urgency?
