 Testing Cocaine Percentage via Temperature/Melting Point
If 100mg of cocaine (MP 195C) were weighed out and put on a hot plate and the temperature was risen to 185C, the new weight now recorded, and then risen to 195C, and then again recorded, could someone be able to find out the percentage of their cocaine?
I looked up common cuts:
Cocaine 195C/ 383F
Inositol 225C
Mannitol 167C
Lactose 202C
Baking soda 60C
Caffeine 237
Procaine 155C
Lidocaine 69C
The lactose would be a big problem because it is pretty close to cocaine. You would need a hotplate that could measure to 195C and not go over by 7C.
I have heard that this may not work, because if your cocaine is cut with other shit the cuts could actually lower the MP of the cocaine. This sounds stupid to me, what is the deal?
