Let's say I've come across a source for hash that usually has some nice, black and soft, break-it-with-your-fingers hash but sometimes there is a harder grayer/browner gotta-scrape-it-off hash. Is there a way for me to grind this into a powder or "re-hash" it so that it's more like the nice stuff?

What I'm wondering, if anyone is familiar with hash, is if you can essentially turn dry hash into moist hash. Pretend some of the stuff I could come across is a dense brownie, you can break it with your fingers or nails, and pinch it into a bowl or over a j. Now think of a scenario when something else is almost rock-like, usually requiring chipping or scraping.

I've never done it with hash, but I made honey oil out of 6 grams of kif.

Just stick it on the end of a pin and run your lighter over it a few times. It wont waste any THC, and will make it softer and easier to break up.

But seriously. Just put it into some cigarette cellophane plastic and wrap it up as tight as you can. Tape it off. Wrap some paper around it, tape it off, then run some warm water over it until it is thoroughly soaked. Put it in the oven for a few minutes on like 150 degrees or something then put it in a clamp or between some books and leave it overnight. Run water over it and put it in the oven as many times as you'd like for more compact results.

you can actually take your solid and turn it into nice and pleasant, easy smoking, crumbly hash. its simple. if anyone wants to know i'll explain, i did it with a half oz of solid about a month ago. smoking the last of it tonight/tommorow i imagine.
