| Better Living Through Chemistry Discussions of any and all sorts of mind-warping chemicals, pills, booze, mind machines, trippy stuff, current street prices, importing pharmaceuticals, smart drugs, nutrients, herbs, and altered states. Please try to keep your conversations "theoretical" in nature, since this is an open conference. |

Mexican Pharmacies?
What I've heard: Mexican pharmacies don't require prescriptions for most drugs. The drugs you do need prescriptions for are the ones that have "abuse potential."
My question: Is there anything you can get at a pharmacy in Mexico without a prescription that is still somewhat recreational?

1.) Not really. In the first world, everything's prescription from antibiotics to zoloft. Last time I checked, neither of those had any abuse potential.
2.) What are the odds a pharmacist would take a bribe? (seriously, and how much does it take?)

Re: Mexican Pharmacies?
You gotta know the right ones and it depends on what part of mexico you are at, ask snowbirds or older people which ones are good. If not you will only be able to get codeine, valium, xanax etc. Prices suck down there I've seen OC 80's for 40, Morphine 100mgs for 20, Vicodin 10mgs for 8 and they had 10ml solutions of Butorphanol for 80dollars. Don't expect cheap pharm drugs down there at least that is my experience.

I bought a shitload of Xanax pretty much as soon as I walked off the plane in Mexico.
What drugs ARE you looking for?

Re: Mexican Pharmacies?
Bribe them.
But start small and work your way up. Otherwise they'll rip you off.
Every Mexican has their price, and usually it's not very much ;)
