I was reading a paper yesterday when I came across an article about an African practice called breast ironing, that's used as a sex-prevention method. Here's an old but more detailed description from BBC News.

The lives these people lead is incredible; even if you escape getting/being born with AIDS, being chopped up by a machete wielding psychopath, starved by famine (or your own government) or raped, momma's still gonna bash your tits with a hot stone when you get home.

I've made 6 or 7 threads about Africa in the last month, or in other words 1.75 threads per week (at most).
