Weeds Potential To Create Artificial Self-Realities
Fuck it's odd. I don't know what it is, I think it's just how I'm made. I react VERY strongly to small amounts of weed, I feel like I'm going on psychedelic trips about 1 in 5 times I get high, and this is before I started taking the DL-Phen Combo daily. Anyways, I'm in one of those tripping states right now and it's very fucked up. What is always tied to these intensely psychedelic states are literally a reconstruction of my reality. First my brain mentally deconstructs my relationships, mainly the ones with my family, and puts them in an area where I feel intensely fearful and uncomfortable; oddly also slightly liberating but with a nasty fucked-up in-the-gut feeling. Then it works out just other fucked up things that I can't describe, basically my mental position of EVERYTHING. It's like, temporarily it recreates me as a person.
Umm...anything like this happen to you guys?

Do you happen to take an idea, break it down in your head and try to build it up better then before? Even things you have no control over (such as other people)?
For things you have no control over (that you break down and try to build up better), do you start to resent those things?
Do you feel like you are really fucking aware, and that this awareness is causing you to feel despair? If you were ignorant to this awareness, you wouldn't feel this dispairness, but at the same time this awareness makes you swell up w/ pride?
When you are sober, do you think to yourself "Wow I was just really, really high" and go on with MOST of the thoughts gone, but you definitley notice some (albeit moar subconsious)?
I went on a 2c-e/LSD binge for a few months and now when I smoke weed all of the above happens to me. I also have bipolar disorder if that means anthing.

You are not crazy. You are not mysterious. It is not how you were "made". You are not John Nash.

lol, I never said I was smart or had a "beautiful mind". I was just describing the experience and how I was feeling as best I could in that state. I have nothing to prove to the internet, I don't think.
Anyways, it feels like I'm a whole 'nother person in this state and I'm wondering if that is more or less like the real me and I'm just working out repressed thoughts and feelings...
oh and pope, no, sorry.

yes, I get that feeling of despair from over-awareness and often wish I was ignorant so I could just not feel the despair, yet it does make me feel superior, definitely, if that is what you're sayiing. I get that often and then lose many of the thoughts when I'm sober but they linger.

Re: Weeds Potential To Create Artificial Self-Realities
When I smoke weed, I feel no such symptoms.. I am just completely relaxed and calm. I feel appreciated and no matter what bad thoughts that existed upon my mind beforehand, are non-existent and I just bask in a ambient feeling of tranquility and appreciation. I think about the goodthings I could do, and ways to make life better for me and possibly for others. This is why I enjoy smoking marijuana.

Re: Weeds Potential To Create Artificial Self-Realities
i know exactly what you all are talking about....i have been having this problem for the longest time and i haven't been able to put my finger on the cause or find the words for what is happening in my head.
when u quit does this perception go away?
if not is there a way to combat being too aware to the point of despair and social awkwardness?

Re: Weeds Potential To Create Artificial Self-Realities
That's what happens to me when I smoke weed. I become a completely different person. I think it mostly comes from just having low tolerance and not being under control of the effects. It happened all the time when I smoked once every month or two.
Smoke daily and it goes away.

Re: Weeds Potential To Create Artificial Self-Realities
I trip out when I smoke weed, probably in a different way but I zone out to the point that I stare at something for 20 minutes straight, with thousands of bizarre thoughts and sounds and noises going through my head all while everything around me is vibrating and warping and changing colors. Alot of strange associative thoughts and wierd epiphanies. I got really high last night, had all these symptoms and also the entire time there was a very clear and vivid complex pattern in my entire field of vision, open and closed eyes, stilll there. it changed sometimes, but my legs kept appearing long and short and changing to a purplish color. then I put on some music and closed my eyes and pretty much went into a semi-conscious dream, super vivid, and it was like a music video to the music but it was really fucking vivid and very very dreamlike but really fucking wierd at the same time.
