Soooo a friend of mine is growing his first pot plant in his basement. Everythings been going fairly well, but we've encountered some minor problems and need some help. (I realize this might fit better in The Great Outdoors, mods feel free to move this sucka).

First problem: we've noticed a bunch of small, black, flying bugs around the plant that appear to be chewing holes in the leaves. A friend of ours says they might be mites and if they are they're also sucking the fluid and nutrients from the plant, which can't be good. So what's a way we can get rid of these little bastards that isn't going to be harmful to the plant? Note: this is an indoor plant.

Which brings me to our second issue. To try to solve the bug problem, his mom just sprayed Raid on the plant. Not a lot and not all over the plant itself, just around the dirt a bit where the bugs were. Now if totse has taught me anything it's to avoid huffing Raid. But how bad is this really? It hasn't started to bud yet so it's not like there's Raid in the weed, but it's on the top layer of dirt so some of it might be absorbed. Anyways, I know this probably sounds like a troll but whatever, shit happens.

Why would you put raid on a weed plant dipshit? Destroy it and start over. That WILL harm you believe it or not if you smoke it, or just see for yourself. And is raid even supposed to go on plants?

WE didn't do it. We asked his mom to look at the bugs and she just whipped out the Raid on that shit. I know it will be harmful, I just want to know HOW harmful. Like I said, not much was sprayed on at all, just a quick little squirt and not on the plant itself.

I would straight up knock somebody out if they put raid anywhere near my plants
