Opiate help
Alright, just got my prescription of methadones filled. Now, first off is methadone actually a real opiate? And what's the juice that helps kick opiates in? Grapefruit juice I think?

Re: Opiate help
"EFFECTS CLASSIFICATION
Opioid; Analgesic"
"Methadone is a synthetic opiate derivative / opioid that is most commonly used as a maintenance treatment for heroin and opiate addiction."

e2: not 100% on this, but i don't think grapefruit juice will help much with methadone, because i don't think methadone deals with the enzymes that G-fruit juice blocks.
try tagament, apparently it helps a lot with most opes (except codeine apparently). and also, apparently chitosan can raise morphines bioavail by like 52% or some shit, i gotta look into that.

Re: Opiate help
It's White Grapefruit Juice that blocks the enzymes, And Tagamet helps make it last longer.

Re: Opiate help
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I know it's a synthetic opiate so I wasn't sure if grapefruit juice would work. I donno if it did, but I just puked and only took 50 mg which is a normal dose for me.

Re: Opiate help
Be careful with the M-done man. In my area, there are more methadone overdoses than heroin as far as opiates go.
Just be careful. Play it safe. It's what killed Cobranaut.

Yeah, buti s 50 mg (my opiate tolerance is about null now) really a dangerous dose? It's only 10 more mg than a wafer..

Well put it this way...
The LD-50 (Lethal dose) for Methadone in an opiate naive individual is ONLY 40mg; so please keep that in mind. However, if you have past experience with opiates and have some sort of tolerance, 50mg should be fine. Just be sure to not re-dose in less than 12-18 hours min. (Preferably 24 hours), this is how people die :)
ONE.

But if I were to snort a whole OC 40, I'd be much less high than I am now. I'm extremely high off thees things and that kinda freaks me out :o

Re: Opiate help
I'm feelin better now. Man, I haven't smoked any weed in 2 weeks, and I haven't done any opiates in about a week. Taking 5-10 mg 'dones and then smoking a blunt really rocked me hard :D

Re: Opiate help
yes grapefruit juice , I'm sure somebody else probably answered this but im too lazy to read.
on a sidenote.......it must actually do something if they see fit to put a warning on the side of my prescription for diazepam, too. Wonder if it potentiates orally most/more narcotics?
