I'm looking for an idea on dosage range in kavalactones. Most doses concerning kava are in grams of root or grams of powder from capsules. I'm looking for kavalactones specifically or even a STRONG dosage for say a 150lbs person in grams of capsule powder. Thank you, any other information in dosage would be useful too but especially the stuff mentioned above.

I think 2000mg should treat you nicely.

I would open each capsule and parachute it all. Might take a couple chutes, but it'll digest faster than capsules.

You don't need no 2 g's man. At 150 lbs, if you've got decent kava, 700-800 mg kavalactones should suit you nicely. It's not like you're gonna get real fucked up or anything, but it is a very nice pseudo-drunken/anxiolytic feeling. Decent to relax with after some stress or bullshit.

kava does nothing.... its all one big placebo that people buy into

*shrug* I've known people who have done 2000mg and they were fine. Not easy to overdose on it. Plus you'd probably puke it up before you did.

I'm sure you'd get a really nice sedation rather than a minor one.

Oh, no no, 2 g definitely isn't dangerous, it's just, IMO, not mandatory to achieve effects.

Yeah, you likely would get heavier sedation, but depending on what you're using the kava for, this could be bad or good. I like to use it before work sometimes or alongside amps to reduce "side effects" and in those cases, for me, a low/moderate dose is much more preferable than a high-end sit-on-my-ass dose.

Both are nice though.

honestly how do you guys get effects on kava... i bought an ounce of 40% kavalactones extract, i took at least like 3 grams.. i didn't feel shit
