Default Growing Poppies Indoors

I didn't know where to ask this; so, I asked it here(there isn't a Great Indoors?) Basically, I would like to grow poppies(papaver somnium) indoors. I have grown them outdoors, and I have grown other things indoors. I am wondering what light cycle you think I should give them. I know they start out with less light then flower when given more. I was thinking 12 hours a day for about 30 days; then giving them 18 a day until harvest is over. Any recommendations?

What are you scared of pussy? They are legal plants. Just plant them in your fucking yard, or tuck your penis between your legs and hop around like a little pussy boy

Plant them outside when it's not the correct season? Sounds like a plan. Why are you so mean? I ask a simple question; answer or click the back button on your browser.

Theyre not gonna grow as well indoors. You fucked up by not planting the seeds in spring.

Absolutely not. I have used them both, which is why I posted here after it yielded minimal information. Good heavens this forum is useless. To struggling artist, I fucked them up by not planting in Spring? You don't plant them in spring... Why are you posting here if you know nothing of the current topic? Obviously I planted and harvested already - I just feel like growing more at the moment. Go tell all the marijuana growers who grow year round, "You fucked up by not planting in spring." I've read posts by intelligent individuals in BLTC before; I guess they are all busy with their fulfilling lives while the addicts attempt to fill their void by flaming honest threads.

What kind of light are you using? [they need a ton of it] Other then that keep the light cycle at 12/12, any more light and you'll have them trying to bolt from seed and end up with useless tiny plants, I would wait a little longer then 30 days before changing the light cycle but it's really up to you - whenever you think they are big enough switch to 16/8.

Plenty of people grow poppies indoors [mostly opiate addicts, see the forums at: http://www.poppies.org/ for example]. You only need a huge plot of land if you're trying to produce enough opium to sell on a global scale as they do in Afghanistan or wherever else, if he is just interested in trying it or feeding a small habit then growing indoors should work fine. I don't know why everyone is acting so dismissive, his question was about light cycle anyways - no point in posting if you're not offering constructive advice.

Thank you sushi for both your posts. I knew there were helpful/intelligent people here! I'll take your recommendation on the light cycle. Thanks again.
