Theres different opinions as to what Ice is. On the one hand I've heard LE agents say Ice is a purer form of methamphetamine. They say ice is to meth as crack is to cocaine. They say this purer form of meth is smokable. Are they saying Ice is methamphetamine freebase? How is that any purer than its salt.

On the other hand one of the nicknames for the drug 4-Methyl-aminorex (4-mar, Euphoria, Ice) is ice and some dealers sell that stuff and call it ice.

Whats the consensus on this? When most people say ice are they talking about freebase meth or 4-mar?
