If citric acid was used when boiling the cactus, does it have to be used all the way through the extraction or can you switch over to hydrochloric acid?

If your doing an A/B then essentially any acid could be used although your better off using HCl. If your making a tea then don't use HCl, stick with citric, you don't want to be drinking HCl!
