Keep this in mind; I have no high school diploma, i will have my ged in 3 weeks. No college education and I made 35k last year in marketing. I started off as a telemarketer for anderson windows, and now im a sales rep. I travel all over central pa giving presentations of our product. I make $17.00 base pay plus 3% of any sale I make. Average sale is 31,000 dollars, I average about 1 sale a week but they're mostly 12-15k sales. So anyways I make about 900 a week with no education but once i get my ged ill be a rep. manager so its possible to do good, telemarketing can pay well!

Or I can go to college, and walk into an administrative position making 50k/year.

An nypd officer makes about 35k+ starting off with just an associates from any college in any discipline. If you make it a career with a 4 year relevant degree you could make good bank.

Oakland CA cops get $25/hour starting. No college required. $50/hour on weekends and holidays. Found this out when a pet store I worked at during high school got robbed. When the cops were getting information from me and my coworkers, I asked them how much they made. Keep in mind, this was over a decade ago. They are probably making a shit load more now.
