How to stop importation of Marijuanna in the US
Allow people to grow it!!!
Seriously, I am tired of watching those commercials with people saying they support gang violence and terrorists.
The solution isn't stopping people from smoking, its letting people grow their own, like 4 plants that you register with the state.

You're preaching to the choir man.
Marijuana prohibition is downright retarded. Didn't work with alcohol, isn't working with weed.
Anything 'bad' that can be said about weed applies to cigarettes and alcohol. Plus there's a lot more money to be made on it. National debt = gone in several years.
It's not nearly as bad for you as tobacco or alcohol is either.

Re: How to stop importation of Marijuanna in the US
yeah, but legalizing drugs is not going to end drug related crimes.
i'm not saying that marijuana should be illegal in its own right, your right prohibition is retarded (especially like you said because tobacco and alcohol have far worse side effects), but the fact remains that the american drugs of choice are beer and cigarettes. marijuana is too easy a target for a lot of politically minded individuals to crack down on to look "hard on drugs" without having to deal with the more difficult issues that arise when attacking harder drugs.
weed should be legal, but i just don't think that it is ever really going to happen (but i'll still be happy to smoke it everyday)

Re: How to stop importation of Marijuanna in the US
Many states are taking very good steps in the right direction to end marijuana prohibition. California, for example.
The whole thing about America's drugs of choice being cigarettes and alcohol is debatable. We have many millions of marijuana users here. Evidenced by nearly every town having a headshop, and tons of gas stations around the country selling pipes/bongs/grinders etc.
Also, many people DO NOT smoke marijuana because of it's legal status. They simply do not want to lose their jobs or get in trouble. If it's made legal, there will be many many more smokers, guaranteed.
As I said, the government has tons of money to be made. They're fucking stupid for not doing it.

Well, in ohio you can have 100 grams as long as it isn't packaged to sell you are good, it is a 100 dollar fine, and you just go pay it. It is like a speeding ticket.
Also I say fuck farm subsidies, let farmers grom industrial hemp.

I'm not going to lie and pretend that I know a statistic, but I would hazard a guess that a damn good proportion of the marijuana smoked by Americans in America is grown in the good ol' US of A anyway man.

Re: How to stop importation of Marijuanna in the US
Re^: I heard somewhere that it's America's favorite house plant. More people grow weed than lilies.
I don't get why weed is still so terrifying in the public eye.
I hear a lot of people freaking out because it has more tar in it than nicotine, they hate it because it's bad it is for your health.
But what if I don't mind being unhealthy? What if I value freedom and happiness more than my physical well being?

It's bad because it's illegal, and it's illegal because it's bad.
Also, DARE for the lose.
