Now back to my scenario.

2 bags of mushies.
Bag #1, weighs 1 gram, 2 mushrooms both weighing .5 grams.
Bag #2, weighs 1 gram, 1 mushroom.

You SHOULD trip slightly more on bag number 1.

If I'm right then yeh, more surface area.

It's commonly agreed upon that aborts are more potent.

However, most people don't regard aborts as say "what you harvested." They're what they are, aborts.

From the scenario you gave, I'd say they're both of the same potency.

This is bad to get stuck on if your selling, because if you have bigger shrooms, you get more weight and more money.
Aborts look like dirt when you dry them, and people want to buy full, plump mushrooms with golden caps, not shroom shake(which is def. toxic to your lungs ;)).
