why in the hell would a nurse know...they pay nurses to keep the people happy and to do the shit the doctors dont want to do. fyi i got this from an anesthesiologist's roller cabinet...clearly not accessible to a NURSE. and yes this is ephedrine folks, in a syringe..the doctor said it was used to raise a persons blood pressure when they were put under for surgery

And even then she has to catch peoples doseage mistakes. they do not keep shit in syringes like that at her hospital it is only kept in ampuoles and vials and drawn up into a syringe for injection. It still does not seem plausible especially when as you say epinephrine can be used to restart or speed up the heart rate and it also helps with severe allergic reactions.

And it would not be a bad thing to have because you never know when you might come across someone that is near death that was just stung by a bee or ate a peanut.

Well as someone said they are not otc in the US. Only that primatene mist is for asthma. it is meant to be a brochodilator and not for allergic reactions.
