Haha Well, she did, but we got back together. In fact, she was the one who asked me.

Why did she do it?

I told her that I wasn't going to be able to pick her up from work to take her to a party. We made these plans early in the week, and friday I found out I'm 7 cents over my overdraw on my checking account, so picking her up suddenly became more costly.

She was about 20 minutes or so away from the party at work. She got out at 10:30 at night and everyone who wasn't staying the night was supposed to be out by 12 because it was at my friends sister's house. So not only was gas a problem, but time was a problem too.

I will give her this, she was gonna have to take buses home, and walk through the fucking ghetto where she lives, mad late at night. Also, it just so happened to rain like crazy that night. I would be kinda peeved if I had to do that when I thought I was gonna get a ride.

Anyway, she flipped out when I told her over AIM the night before. She got upset, and had her cousin call me to talk about it because she didn't want to talk to me. I told her cousin she should be a big girl and call me, it took her an hour to do so and she hung up on me. She called me back, and broke up with me. She finally called me back about another hour later and we talked for a long time and got back together.

I love her. Thats why I took her back. But don't you think thats a silly reason to break up with someone? Was she being selfish or was I being an asshole for not picking her up?

What does it mean if she does something like that again?

Plus, if she got out at what, 1030, and the party was over by 12, that's not even a real party. I hope I misread that. 1 and a half hours? That's not even enough time to get properly drunk. That fails.

Just keep in mind this "relationship" of yours means jack shit to her. Use her, then move on to greener pastures.

Do you make a habit of saying your going to do things and not doing it? I know my boyfriend often does. It's usually pretty trivial stuff; he'll say he wants to hang out on X day, or he says he's going to do this or that, and he rarely follows through, and it gets frustrating and I've considered dumping him over it.

If you don't do that, and it was just this one thing she got pissed about then she's a bit out of line.
