Default A dogs nose. by Jesus

I was thinking about dogs today, and I was wondering How a dog smells and how you could throw it off.

It seems the conscious is a 2 to 4% zinc sulphate heptahydrate solution

But, I am not sure how you would administer it, or if it is even ambient ya know?

They work by having a ton of sensory cells in their nose. I'm pretty sure you would be able to stop it from smelling with a gun.

Smells from drugs are supposedly not able to go through wax. The dea could just be saying that so people would try it though... If I were gonna try that I'd send it to someone with no connections to me, without getting any prints or anything on it. Just to see if they find it. You'll just have to test whatever you think may work. The law enforcement may be using stuff like the zinc chemical to train their dogs in case people try to fool them. They may train them to smell wax too.

If i remember correctly dogs cant be fooled so easily. When we smell a stew we smell it as one thing , stew but the way dogs noses work doesnt allow them to layer smells so they would be smelling beef and celery and so forth.

I'm sure you can trap the smell inside something (wax) but i think masking it woulnt work

I'm not 100% sure on what i just said i just remember hearing this concept

This is pretty much true from my understanding.
Dogs can seperate smells out, unlike humans and it is incredibly difficult to conceal a smell considering the container itself would likely have the odour on etc.

That's why its recommended that you distract the dog. Hence my support for the gun.

I remember reading a long time ago that using Axe to spray a room down worked well because of the alcohol or something in it kind of deaded the scent cells or whatever they were so they weren't able to smell as much.

I'm not saying use Axe, but does anybody have some input?
