Soo, there is this festival in August, and I should be getting out of the army by that time, and my friend has tickets and she told me I could get one, and she can get me a place to stay. I am selling some stuff up there, and figured that the festival would be the place, and well free tickets aren't bad.

Now I have been planning this since I found out I was getting out of the army, all of the sudden a friend from a few years back asked me if I was going, and if her and friends could get a ride and a place to stay.

I am hesitant because the last time we really spoke some shit went down, and she basically told me that we were only friends because they "Used me", and I kinda think that she just said that because she was mad, but I left the scene in a blaze of glory.

I can get a ride and a place to stay for me, and probably them, but I am really hesitant because of the prior. Now she says "Oh that was two years ago" but still. I kinda wrote everyone out of my life, and tried to start something better. Granted it has gone to shit again and I don't trust anyone really, and I am tired of getting dicked over by people.

My reasons not to:
1.I have nothing to gain by giving them a ride and a place to stay.

2. I was dicked over by them a few times, granted I gave a few good dicking myself, but I didn't use anyone like a piece of trash

3. I really don't want to deal with all the fucking drama, and although she says it was a while ago, I don't think that shit changes that much

4. I don't want to be used again.

Reasons to:

1. One of the friends is this girl I have always been rather fond of and then shit kinda went sour when I dicked a few in their "group"

2. I am usually one to help out friends

3. They know people that I can sell to and if shit goes alright at the festival, I could have potential clients when it is over

4. I am not a spiteful bitch.

Also, I think the only reason that she even contacted me is because I am a last resort. :/ Not so much that we are friends.

They're using you, and that's bullshit that they are suddenly contacting you. They have made absolutley no attempt to straighten shit out prior to this, so what makes you think they even give a shit for real? They don't, they just want a ride.

Connections are very easy to obtain at festivals, so I don't think that it's a good enough reason.

As for the girl that you're fond of or whatever, there's a good chance they're going to go anyway and find a different way of getting there so she's probably going to be there.

That's what I would do, anyway. May I ask which festival this is, by the way?

They are fucking using you bro! I've always been the one with the car and shit and i've had a few of these situations happen to me and stuff . I advise you not to let them use you like that , and chances are they only called you because you have a car and stuff so fuck that shit!

i suggest you do the following
get them all worked up and stuff for the festival and even set up the time your gonna pick them up.

dont pick them up so they can miss their festival and all that money go to waste, dont pick up their phone calls, delete myspace any contact with them. that'll teach em a lesson
