i ate some "trumpet seeds" several years back. i was pretty drunk and didn't know what i was doing really. hell, i think it was before i was a member here, which was in 03. i didn't really have a trip like all them wicked reports you can read at erowid. i just woke up the next morning just all delirious and couldn't focus for shit. i was sayin some crazy shit. i barely remember what i was sayin, but my parents filled me in on that part. i cant even imagine considering trying it again. a few years after that i was tweakin on my friends video camera and stumbled across a video where he and a group of other kidiots were totally kickin the shit out of some poor kid they got to eat these trumpet seeds. i shoulda fuckin slipped him some fuckin seeds just for that shit, that was one of the most disturbing things i've seen someone i know do to another person.

Yes, I've done it three times. The first two were seeds, eaten, and the second time was an extract of the whole pods smoked. I got to about three tokes of that and haven't touched the shit since. Trust me, there is nothing of value there, psychedelically speaking, and as far as recreation goes, well, if you like picking up the same penny that never existed in the first place for about three days straight, then yeah, it's fun.



I actually just cut down several of these devil weed plants in my front yard the other day. I hate those motherfuckers, and don't even want the plants growing in my yard.

Datura is one on a small list of things I won't touch. I don't like the idea of having no control over my body for (reportedly) several days. I couldn't imagine what would happen to a person that eat a whole bag by accident. Someone not used to anything like that would definitely think they had either died or gone insane. I'm open minded when it comes to drugs but slipping shit to an unknowing person is not cool. That kid must be perma-fucked in the head. Three of my friends found some Dartura plants just growing on the side of the road, and one of the kids told the rest that you can eat the plant and trip balls, well each one of them ate about a pods worht of seeds each and had a very shitty next two days. They dont like to talk about it very much but i know for about 2-3 days after their vision was very obscured and they couldnt read at all. fucking retards

datura is by far my favorite drug... i do it about twice a month now, but a year ago when i started i was doing it 4 times a week for 3 months...datura is a A+ drug

OP: Everyone should do datura at least once. I mean it's really healthy for you. It contains natural antioxidants such as atropine, scopolamine, and my favorite hyoscamine. Pick the whole plant and eat it all, because that is the only way datura works.

No, I don't think so. With my experience, I took some downers and went to sleep, I did not want to feel like that. It hits very quick, and as opposed to eating it, you know you are somewhere different, mentally.

Much like nutmeg, it is a highly underappreciated and over-villified drug with wonderful potential if dealt with sensibly... I'm a big fan, myself.

A friend and I boiled down 10 flowers into some tea and added sugar and drank a glass both.
Ended up vomiting it up and becoming pretty damn delerious for a good 8+ hours.

I know a few people who have tried it, one lay in his parents bed 2 days because he thought the grim reaper was waiting for him outside of his house.

A few of my sisters friends took it and one ended up in the hospital, the other who's mom is the dumbest fucking bitch in the world made her go to school the next while she knew she was tripping on it because the mom had to go out of town...she basically dropped her off and told my sister to take care of her (who was in 8th grade at the time). They found out she was on it because she was just sitting there all day trying to pull her bottom lip off. That caused a bit of trouble.

I say get a real drug if you want to trip, but hey, I'm not your mom.
