Honey Oil ratio?
I understand that there are a few variables in the process, but on average how much oil would you get from an ounce?

Re: Honey Oil ratio?
Is it really worth it? I was reading, and I got that the average ratio is one ounce yeilds about 3 grams.
granted, I guess it is pretty strong, but 3 grams isn't a lot.

Re: Honey Oil ratio?
if your using cuttings, dont bother to use any green that doesnt have trichomes on it (the little sticky glands)
other then that yes it yeild low, but if you make bubble hash, and mix it with your honey oil at a 3:1 ratio its called jelly hash and boy is it worth it.

Why not? I use high grade cuttings all the time - but then I get the shit free so I have a large supply of it.

This is easily answered, seeing as we all live in the same area as you, and have the EXACT SAME connections.
3 ounces of cuttings yielded roughly 2 grams (butane extraction) of good quality honey oil for me.

if youre going through the trouble of making it...why sell it? why not smoke it?
youre probably not going to profit from it, if you bought the oz to make it with to begin with.

Re: Honey Oil ratio?
How is turning high quality cuttings into high quality hash oil 'wasting' it?
Same with buds.
The higher quality the material you use, the better the final product.

I like to smoke my dank nugs personally, he sounds like hes going to sell his final product, why use the best you have?

Re: Honey Oil ratio?
Ah, I didn't see that little tidbit.
But for personal use, using buds will yield a much higher quality final product.
I've even used kif to make honey oil before, and it was quite excellent.
