Have you guys ever met those girls who are with a guy that they don't really like because they're too afraid of being alone?

For example there was this girl and me and her got really close, but she had a boyfriend so it wasn't going to happen. A couple nights ago, she calls me up drunk complaining about how I never tried to steal her from her boyfriend. Pretty much I told her to call me when she was sober and single.

If she calls me should I try to get with her even though this shows that she is extremely insucure, shallow, and thought that I would actually stoop to stealing her like that.

That's funny because I've noticed a lot of men who have this issue.

I think they're all crazy. Rushing into a relationship just for the sake of having one has got to be a symptom of something pathological.

Sounds kind of like what happened to me. This girl tells me she likes me as more than just a friend, but things are going well with her current boyfriend *cough, bullshit*. She's been with him for three years, yet they never show the slightest bit of affection around each other and when they talk it's like they need any excuse at all to break up. You can tell this guy can't stand her any more. I'm constantly coming on to this girl, but she's a fucking cocktease.

So I've focused my attention on other girls (you should do the same), but next time she invites you over to get drunk with her, fuck her.

Might be because they want an easy supply of sex. Women can get sex wherever. Plus, going out and trying to get laid is tiresome; it also becomes expensive after a while.

Some people just need the affection of others (or the semblance of affection) to validate their sense of self worth, or just to function. Some guys/girls can't cook for themselves or make decisions, so they attach to other people and let that person run their lives.

No thanks. I've been single for ages because I haven't found a girl I really want to be with. I like casual dating, but finding a girl I could actually see myself with for 3-5 years is a lot harder.

I don't know many women who can stand being single.

I loved being single, but im just as happy with my other half now... i took my two years off after a long relationship to ponder what i really want in a person and realised that it wasnt that important. Im more happy living for me and doing what makes me happy, hes fine with it excluding things that would hurt him, obviously..

My best friend is like that, ever since we were 14-15 she has always needed to have somebody there, either interested in her, a boyfriend..etc. She told me the attention makes her feel better about herself. I dont judge her but i think the concept doesnt make much sense.

I dont see why someone always needs be there, theres so many potential people who could make you happy its just a fall back they try and keep so they can feel secure and i dont think they realise they are 'mind-fucking' the other person in the relationship. I knew more than one person i could be in a happy, fulfilling relationship with, i still do.. but i made decisions because of the way i felt and i waited long as i needed to, i think a lot of guys do this too.. Its pretty weak.

I have noticed this quite a bit with some girls I know.
One girl I know has to be in a relationship, one time after breaking up with her russian crazy boyfriend, started going out ith the fatest guy at schol, this 400 pound asian.
she was a hot girl, but she was just a sucker for getting attention.

i just ended a relationship with my current gf cuz i suspect shes cheating on me but i have good reason to , she acts and says things on purpose to make me feel jealous.
i dont know other girls that i might be able to date because i blew them off cuz im in love with my girl , i dont feel as i need anyone else though. when im over my now ex i will go and find another mate.

I find being alone really sucks. It's not that I need someone to validate my life, but I really just don't like being alone. I like to cook for someone, or them cook for/with me. I like to grab some tittiess when I'm trying to fall asleep too. I need sex a lot, at least enough that I need a women around me daily. I also love the way my place smells because of living with a women. Women enhance my life, so I like having one around. I don't need one, I just like having one.
