My advise on sunbathing is that you have to be patient. The first 30-60 minutes are a little boring.

After about an hour, break the ipod and it almost feels intoxicating.

I went to the store after about 2 hours of sunbathing, and I definitely carried the high with me. Maybe not as intense as when you're still in the sun.

Now I know why it's so popular.

someone here was talking about cluster headaches and how mushrooms and acid help, and so does sitting out in the sun as long as they have a good pair of sun glasses because your body pumps more out when your in the sun, making the headaches be less painful...

also, try closing yr eyes and looking at the sun, it's really good rest for them

what about actually staying in a dark room(absence of light) for a few weeks while taking ungodly doses of tyrosine, and melatonin?(i know, i know only .3mg are needed other then that its teh waste) I think a mild dose of caffeine was also recommended to occupy a receptor/or transport protein

Sure you won't get high from sitting in the sun but your overall health'll benefit, besides the odd chance of skin cancer.

I have a theory that depression and other disorders in our society are so widespread because our culture spends far more time indoors than in the past. Our sun breeds life. Most life can't live without it. You'll feel more alive if you spend time in it.

What about adrenaline? There's nothing better than doing something that gets your adrenaline pumping.

Runners high is pretty nice too, I don't really sunbath so I wouldn't know.
