I haven't even heard of this drug until recently... what's the deal on it? any good? Ideally, I'd like to get something like Dexedrine for my ADHD, but I don't know how to ask for it. Today was my first appointment with this woman and she wrote this... It seemed odd that she'd give amphetamine to me so quickly.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a link to an amphetamine equivalences scale/chart for different prescription drugs. I've seen one for Benzos before, but not amphetamines.

Her exact words were that it was like Adderall but it lasts longer.

It's a pro-drug of dextroamphetamine which means it becomes Dexedrine once metabolized-- in your stomach, which supposedly makes it an awesome drug because it "curbs abuse". Cause, you know, all speed freaks take their shit in the nose or vein...

You can always use an A/B extraction to strip out the dex, too.

Either way, tell me how it works-- I'm genuinely curious in the medical regard.

No, the amino group (lysine, I think) adds weight. Similarly, 30mg of dextroamphetamine sulfate is less potent than 30mg of dextroamphetamine chloride, which contains less amphetamine than 30mg of dextroamphetamine base...

You can always use an A/B extraction to strip out the dex, too.

If you're talking metabolically, vyvanse is a protien in which one of the "amino acids" is amphetamine.

When the protien hits your stomach, it gets broken down into free amino acids, and... ;)

I'm not even sure if that makes sense. The one I saw for benzos went something like .5 mg of xanax = #mgs of valuim etc

I hear on a good number of forums that 70 mg Vyvanse= 30 mg Adderall XR. Seems a bit off to me but it's a pretty popular consensus, it seems.

dude, sell them at your school or to college kids next semester around finals. people will buy these for 5-15 bucks a pill depending on if finals are comin. stock em up man.
