You mean hydroxyzine, right? As in, Vistaril or Atarax?

I use Vistaril sometimes if I'm feeling a bit edgy, and more often, when I'm coming down off a stimulant or some other edge-inducing drug. It's a basic sedative and not really recreational in my opinion but I do think it tends to work for what it's made for...if you take like four of them.

No other way besides oral. I think they use it IM/IV in medical settings, but...yeah, don't do that.
