Default Lights on? Lights off?

To sum it up quickly, my boyfriend seems to want the lights off whenever its possible (i.e. simple positions like missionary and doggystyle) and I want to have them on, because I like to be able to see him.

At first I was just confused and went with it, but after thinking about it I wonder if he's insisting on this because he dosent want to see me?

How do you prefer it, lights on, or off? Assuming its softer lighting, not harsh fluorencent lights or anything like that.

Why?

DONT WORRY ABOUT IT.

Looking into the chicks eyes/seeing her reactions could easily drop a yellow hazard flag on things...maybe its his way of lasting longer.

Maybe dim, that can be pretty erotic when the lights are dimmer and not like a full blast of bright light, but not off. There's nothing more arousing than looking into her eyes/at her face and seeing that she's getting pleasure and enjoying herself.

I don't think I've ever had sex with the lights off. In dim light, sure, but never in full darkness. Personally I like bright sunlight the best; when I'm having sex with my boyfriend and I get into it I can forget my body hangups and just feel sexy for the most part, and afterwards basking in a warm, sunny glow is just about as close to heaven as you can get.

Good meal prior to sex. (you need the extra calories)
A certain trigger from said girl
Make sure whereever we are about to have intercourse has been cleared of people
If inside a house, lock all doors and windows so you can atleast get a quick chance to throw some clothes on or something if your play time gets interuptted.
Find suitable place to get your groove on.
Find NIN- Closer CD and start to play it.
Dim lights
Go like it is the end of the world as you know it.
Wake up the next morning and make the girl an omlette.

I personally don't like women to see my back. They tend to ask questions when they see it.

In the long run I'll fuck just about anywhere, but everyone has preferences.

Thats what I thought...

Oh, he's much more open to the lights on idea if I'm not actually facing him in whatever position we're doing..

Seems to me like there are only two options:
1. He finds you ugly.
2. He is afraid he won't last long if he can see your body/reactions during sex.

Considering the fact that he is more open to have the lights on if you're facing away from him, and assuming that your back isn't some horribly scarred mess designed to make him last longer, it seems like he is afraid of banging you in the light due to option #2. For a guy who isn't that experienced, the visual of the girl facing him could be way too hot for him to handle.

Try having the lights on in something like a reverse-cowgirl position, then turn around and do him in normal cowgirl. If he resists, hold him down. And if he gets off in 15 seconds, don't make a big deal about it. Protip: Try and get him hard for another fuck; he should last longer, and you get some more sex - with the lights on!

Have only ever had sex in the middle of the day in a room with a lot of natural light. I think I'd prefer the dark.

Testament to how a lot of women think; your first thought is "I must be ugly!"

I'd say he's ashamed of his own body.

Unless he's some weirdo that enjoys having frequent sex with women he doesn't find attractive (I was being a smartass with that comment DONT TAKE IT SERIOUSLY).

Ask him what's up.

He definitely has body issues. You'd better to find him sexy and let him knowMad

But...Why don't you just ask your boyfriend instead of totse? I am sure he know the answer.

Well this thread has inspired me to suggest turning the lights off in hopes that I may get more than 5 minutes of sex. Score.

Only one thing to do: Post pics of your nekkidness, then we'll decide whether or not you look awful.

Not true, considering nearly every Totse member on here has never even been near a woman.

I keep the lightly dimly lit... anywhere. Whether I'm eating food, or having sex.

Strangely, I've only had sex with my girlfriend on brightly lit sunny days.
