flu medicine and alcohol?
Dont know where to post this but I guess you guys might know.
If I took OTC flu medicine (zicam) last night how bad would it be to my liver if I drank tonight? I mean alcohol is bad for your liver anyway so I dont really get it. Is tylenol and the like worse than alcohol for your liver? Would it be safe to asume that a shot of zicam is equal to a shot of vodka (liver killing wise)? Or is the problem somehow in the combination of the two?
A answer ASAP would be appreciated as Im going to a party tonight :)
BTW if anyone is not familiar with Zicam (what I took LAST night) its:
Aceteninophen 650mg
Dextromethorphen HBr 20mg
Doxylamine succinate 12.5mg
Phenylephrin HCI 10mg

Haha yeah, I don't think Ill have instant liver failure but I still would like to know how much damage something like this could potentially cause.
