 trazodone interactions with psychedelics
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I know that SSRI's can greatly diminish the effects of psychedelics (although I have a friend on wellbutrin who still trips just as hard as anyone else), and I experienced this when I smoked DMT while on Lexapro and had very minor effects.
Seems like trazodone is a 5HT2A antagonist, so this makes me wonder if it could diminish the effects of psychedelics; LSD, psilocin, etc being agonists of said receptor.
I'd also like to know about it affecting MDMA, which I really dont think it will it working on 5HT1A from what I can tell.
But, I dont know shit about all this and havent really read anything about receptors and all that until about half an hour ago so any input would be nice.
