The key is to be a Sensitive Hardass.
The extreme of anything always gets people fucked over. Usually a balance between the two extreme veiwpoints is the solution.
The key with relationships is to know when to act a certain way. Another fun thing to note, you are not going to make anyone like you by acting a certain way. Just act like yourself and chances are that you will find someone that likes you for who/what you are. The reason most relationships fail from what I have seen is where one party does not act like themselves, so it all falls apart.
Lets sum this up into 2 very simple points:
Mix the way you act up with the way you feel. (be a sensitive hardass)
Act like yourself when attempting to pick up a girl and you stand a better chance of a good realtionship.
I'll probably implode if I see another "How do I make someone like me" or generic thread about this.
You aren't going to be able to manipulate someone to like because the second they figure out they are being manipulated, prepare for it to go down the shitter.

This should be common sense, but since common sense isn't so common... +1 for this thread.

-1 for this thread.
How do you go, in one paragraph...from telling people to be themselves, to telling them to be a sensitive hardass.

I think he might be trying to say that if you are naturally sensitive or a hardass, be yourself but don't be so extreme about it? Or maybe not, good advice though I've seen it at work daily.
