Congrats to California
Gay marriage is legal there now.
Let's hope this dominos into the rest of the states:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/2143219/California%27s-first-gay-marriages-go-ahead.html
Anyone against this is an idiot, by the way. I'm one for giving people the chance to present their argument, but I'll let you know ahead of time that you're wrong.

America is easily the most degenerate/decayed, The rest of the industrialized world is more keen on individual rights. If you have a problem with two men/women getting married as opposed to the economy or the standard of living you need to get your shit straight.

Wrong for so many reasons.
Europe taxes the shit out of its people. Businesses have to go through complex processes in france to fire people and have to pay overtime at hour 36. Half of your gas prices are tax money. You have a 14% VAT on electronic goods making things like playstations and computers unattainable to a lot of people. I suppose they're trying to make it more competitive for domestic computers and shit, but the most computer work europe does is R&D for American and Asian manufacturers, LOL(see ireland). Let's see here we pay about 12-15 cents in gas taxes, and only the richest people only pay around 33% in income tax(as opposed to up to 50% in europe), tariffs are lower for imported goods(no 14% VAT), sales tax is relatively low and based on state (0-8%). Not even the liberals, let alone the conservatives here would ever allow the insane amount of taxes europeans pay to exist here.
In countries besides Norway and Switzerland it is damn near impossible to own a handgun, especially the UK. This alone is a VERY important human right. We call that the 2nd amendment here.
Furthermore, holocaust denial has gotten people imprisoned in germany and is illegal elsewhere in Europe.
Canada itself has whack hate speech laws.
R. v. Keegstra, [1990] 3 S.C.R. 697 is a landmark freedom of expression (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_expression) decision of the Supreme Court of Canada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supreme_Court_of_Canada) where the Court upheld the Criminal Code of Canada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criminal_Code_of_Canada) provision prohibiting the wilfull promotion of hatred against an identifiable group as constitutional under the freedom of expression provision in section 2(b) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_Two_of_the_Canadian_Charter_of_Rights_and_ Freedoms) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Charter_of_Rights_and_Freedoms).
In Canada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada), advocating genocide or inciting hatred against any 'identifiable group' is an indictable offense under the Criminal Code of Canada (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criminal_Code_of_Canada) with maximum terms of two to fourteen years.
See, advocating genocide is understandable, as telling someone to do something illegal is one of the limits of free speech. But what the hell does "inciting hate" mean? Hating is an action of thought. Thinking should never be a crime. That's Canada thought-policing you. Giving someone a reason to hate someone is a crime? We call that the 1st amendment here.
Britain doesn't even have a fucking bill of rights. It's all common law so it's up to the judge wearing that ridiculous wig to just look at what other judges have ruled. Speaking of the UK, check this out: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7442644.stm
The british police took it upon themselves to open up thousands of peoples' safety deposit boxes without individual warrants to look for illegal goods. Suddenly everyone was innocent until proven guilty and had to prove the legitimacy of their goods. I guarantee you in the US there would be outrage against this sort of thing. That's what we have the 4th amendment for.
I agree that the fed is working hard right now to passively erode our rights, but there are millions of American activists working hard to preserve them, such as Ron Paul supporters, the NRA, ACLU. Calling the United States the most degenerated is just plain fucking idiotic. Gay marriage is an issue, the patriot act is an issue, but don't act like there isn't overlap. We have a layered government and that's why California has legalized it and the rest havent. When a good law gets passed it trickles into the states. The US is far from perfect but hardly the most degenerated. The next president, Obama, will likely legalize stem cell research. Take it back.

Individual rights are one big joke. Sure faggots, junkies, parasites, criminals and other subhumans have individual rights, but at the expense of normal people.
No system can function based on individual "rights". It's been tried, it failed, it lets the morally bankrupt to float to the top. Why? Because 99% of people are not capable of administrating themselves and doing the right thing on their own.
I don't really care about any of that. I Hate america and hearing of faggots getting married is music to my ears. It's just one step closer to total collapse for the JEW S A. I care about american "politics" even less, in fact I wish America had one collective neck so I could strangle it.
Fuck you and thE United States of AIDS.

Another america-bashing tool.
http://www.thenewsbuckit.com/2007/06/united-states-most-charitable-country.html
The gates foundation is worth 60 billion. The one laptop per child program is giving laptops to millions of kids in central america and nigeria.
America is the most charitable country on earth.
We enjoy an opulent standard of living. America practically invented the rags-to-richest stories. There is more new money than old money. We are still competitive in research and development and still one of the top countries. You owe countless technologies to research done both by americans, and international researchers who fled to america to avoid prosecution and to enjoy freedoms here(Einstein is the easiest example). America has more universities than any other country and is also home to a lot of the top ones. So much for the all americans are illiterate jokes, eh?
Stop talking out of your ass you emotional twat. There must be SOMETHING in that 3-pound mass of neural connections in your skull that should tell you that you're post makes you look like an ass when you make such a backwards and emotional statement like you just did.
Before anyone calls me arrogant, I'm very far from thinking america is perfect. It's just that I'm sick of people claiming it's the worst nation in world when it really has produced so much for the world in technology, legal precedence(british, spanish, and french revolutions happened after ours and modeled our freedoms), if it wasn't for the US you'd all be speaking Russian.
Every time someone has something positive to say about the US, people will inevitably call that person a blind patriot and cue all the redneck and fat jokes. Come on? What's the basis?

I didn't read anything you wrote, because i don't really give a shit about your dumb belief system.
America is great when you think boner pills and anti-hangover patches are the most important thing. But what about people who prefer civilization, beauty, and true advancement, rather than converting the general population into fat, soft, immature hedonistic nigger children? Watch any documentary on say, the Romans, or the Greeks, and compare their technology to modern technology. You'd be surprised at how little we've advanced when you take into account thousands of years. Why? Because we live in a stupid, useless society, where the market dictates life rather than values, progress, or a higher calling.
Hence faggots will get married. Pedophiles will eventually be released from jail. Animal stables will be opened up as legal brothels in Las Vegas. Why? Because the almighty dollar matters more than values or morals. Now, be a good slave and go back to praying to your green colored paper deity.

Did your dad trade away your sister for goats or something? Why do you hate consumer culture so much? I mean, Im just so pissed that every material good is available and that rather than spending my time hunting I can read, listen to music, or go out and have all kinds of fun

Ahhh I see, you have no argument, so you try to attack the person.
Why do I hate consumer culture? Because I don't feel money and haggling at a market over a tomato should be the center of my life. Even as a consumerist society, the modern west still fails at that, because it's artificial and won't last much longer. Most people have some kind of debt and are forced into a life of debt-interest slavery, due to the fact that to say, buy a house, you need enormous amounts of money.
The capitalist lifestyle is retarded, and anti-nature because it lets the shit float to the top. It rewards degenerates and morally corrupt people, all the while punishing the honest and selfless.
Oh and who says living outside a consumerist society means you have to hunt for your food? Although I'm not a big fan of Medieval age of Europe, the average Medieval peasent had almost 150 holidays on his calender. IF you think you have time now working 6 days a week, imagine all the time you have working only rougly half of a year. People in consumer cultures actually have LESS FREE TIME than a medieval peasent, the consumerist lifestyle demands it!

Actually Zay, I think I know why you love it so much. It's because many people have low intelligence and are happy as long as they have beer in the fridge and can "have fun" once a week or once a month. The idea of some kind of higher culture and enlightenment never crosses the minds of such people, they were born to be soulless drones and need these ideals beaten into them.

Hold on. Back up! You're too cool to read an argument, and then you cry because I called you bad names? Since when do I owe you the decency of avoiding an ad hominem when your last post said that you didn't read anything I said? I can call you an idiot all I want and it's completely separate from the argument. And you can only call ad hominem when the insult is the argument. I presented an insult AND an argument. Big difference . Hypocrite.

What's anti-nature about competitive and marketable people being more successful? There are leaders and drones in any organization of humans that has and ever will exist. You're committing another fallacy: appeal to nature. Just because something is perceived to be natural doesn't mean it's good, like cancer.
Look, we don't live in rockefeller/carnegie/ marx's capitalism anymore. There is tremendous class mobility. Anyone can invest. Someone making 60,000 a year can become a millionaire by retirement. Education is unlimited. Scholarships are tossed around everywhere and 10,000 years of human knowledge can be perused over just by going to www.google.com (http://www.google.com)
You live in the best moment in history to be a human and you don't even know it. If you get sick, there's a treatment for a lot of diseases. If you want to travel 1000 miles to go meditate on top of a holy rock, you can do it as there's tremendous infrastructure to get you anywhere.
See, the pessimistic view you have is nothing esoteric, original, or anything enlightening. It's hippy crap. If you feel that everyone else is a toolbag, you can stand to benefit from all those toolbags working like ants. The bell curve exists, and I hold no grudge against people naturally stupid because nature made them that way.
Work part time, live within your means and spend all your time reading books, creating art, meditating, going on acid trips, etc. All the medicine you need is there, all the food you'll ever eat is taken care of. The infrastructure is all there for you. Somehow I doubt you're the genius that you say you are, and am more keen to categorize you as just whiny, getting tugged along by social pressures.
As for sustainability, check out the green movement. Society is self-correcting itself. All products are now boasting about carbon credits, how green they are, even water bottles advertise 30% less plastic now. Automakers are struggling to make a killing off of the next car to replace the internal combustion engine.
I'll tell you what's unsustainable: sitting on your ass 150 days of the year.

Re: Congrats to California

I'm sure a lot flies over your head, actually. Considering the Greeks and Romans only became degenerate towards the decline of their empire, all nations who are declining into barbarism have a similar cycle, except of course America. Modern capitalist world has declined into degeneracy, but never had any kind of civilization to begin with.
What's anti-nature about competitive and marketable people being more successful? There are leaders and drones in any organization of humans that has and ever will exist. You're committing another fallacy: appeal to nature. Just because something is perceived to be natural doesn't mean it's good, like cancer.
The fact that no man is his own island, is the fallacy. Man is not an individual, unless you want a really stupid, corrupt and inefficient system like capitalism. Humans are best functional when they work together. What is some jew who manipulates currency and stocks, and making billions, contributing to society?
Look, we don't live in rockefeller/carnegie/ marx's capitalism anymore. There is tremendous class mobility. Anyone can invest. Someone making 60,000 a year can become a millionaire by retirement.
LOL yes, "Class mobility". It's true that if you slave away at your job and live as shitty as you can, you can be slightly better off economically, so what? What is the end goal? People are not robots. They aren't cogs in a machine. They need something to live for and be passionate about, and it's rarely ever their mind numbing 9-5 job. People who identify with their material possessions are indeed, the lowest kind of subhuman.
And about the stock market, don't make me laugh. For every success story, there are probably 10 suicides. It's like saying Casinos are great money makers, but what are the chances you will win much ?
Education is unlimited. Scholarships are tossed around everywhere and 10,000 years of human knowledge can be perused over just by going to www.google.com
You live in the best moment in history to be a human and you don't even know it. If you get sick, there's a treatment for a lot of diseases. If you want to travel 1000 miles to go meditate on top of a holy rock, you can do it as there's tremendous infrastructure to get you anywhere.
Again, maybe this is somewhat true in america (due to the fact that the majority of the world's resources and wealth were bought and are now in America).
If I get sick, there's treatment? So fucking what. I don't want treatment. I want a CURE. The medicine of the past wasn't about treatment, it was about curing a patient. People lived longer lives in the past (not unknown to live until 100), the reason the life expectancy is lower in history books is because they count people who died during birth. The poisons of the modern world such as pollution, unnecessary stress, overworking, shitty food, sedentary lifestyle, etc far outweigh all the "treatments" that were developed in response.
I hate google and wikipedia as well, because it discourages people from reading (Which is far superior and more stimulating), as information can be obtained in 1-2 sentences.
If I'm a hippy than I guess so was Adolf Hitler, Corneliu Codreanu, and other awesome people who I admire.
And you're wrong about benefitting from the toolbags. First of alll money doesn't interest me, it only interests inferiors, the pinnacle of human ecstacy is power, sacrifice, and courage on the battlefield. Unfortunately, modern capitalism is also intertwined with "Secular humanism", "EQUALITY". I am against capitalism and also against EQUALITY, I do not believe the races, genders, etc are equal.
Doing drugs and wearing hemp clothes isn't my fucking goal and life. Serving my people and Providence is.
As for sustainability, check out the green movement. Society is self-correcting itself. All products are now boasting about carbon credits, how green they are, even water bottles advertise 30% less plastic now. Automakers are struggling to make a killing off of the next car to replace the internal combustion engine.
They already have all the technology to make the world completely green. The problem? It's not as profitable. That's what you get when your whole life revolves around turning a fucking profit.
I'll tell you what's unsustainable: sitting on your ass 150 days of the year.
Who says you sit on your ass? Sitting on your ass and watching TV is more of a modern capitalism thing. Peasants would go to feasts, to dances, drink mead with friends, etc. Much purer and healthy lifestyle than the modern world of SHIT.

The fact that no man is his own island, is the fallacy. Man is not an individual, unless you want a really stupid, corrupt and inefficient system like capitalism. Humans are best functional when they work together. What is some jew who manipulates currency and stocks, and making billions, contributing to society?
LOL yes, "Class mobility". It's true that if you slave away at your job and live as shitty as you can, you can be slightly better off economically, so what? What is the end goal? People are not robots. They aren't cogs in a machine. They need something to live for and be passionate about, and it's rarely ever their mind numbing 9-5 job. People who identify with their material possessions are indeed, the lowest kind of subhuman.
And about the stock market, don't make me laugh. For every success story, there are probably 10 suicides. It's like saying Casinos are great money makers, but what are the chances you will win much ?
Doing drugs and wearing hemp clothes isn't my fucking goal and life. Serving my people and Providence is.
They already have all the technology to make the world completely green. The problem? It's not as profitable. That's what you get when your whole life revolves around turning a fucking profit.
Who says you sit on your ass? Sitting on your ass and watching TV is more of a modern capitalism thing. Peasants would go to feasts, to dances, drink mead with friends, etc. Much purer and healthy lifestyle than the modern world of SHIT.
Let me start by saying I agree with you on a few levels.

Class Mobility is a reality; you can 'slave away' for a few years doing without and improvising on certain things to save enough money to start a successful business. This is not a reality in many other countries.

I agree, too bad you have failed to post a credible source stating that they're 150 holidays for a peasant.

The world is in a better position now than at an other point in time to awaken from the dream and free themselves of unconscious guilt and the duality that is the true cause of suffering. The 'cure' is in your mind. At least now we aren't burned at the stake for thinking differently. It is still corrupt but at least we aren't being killed for things such as lycanthropy or witchcraft or schizophrenia. I can't say the same rings true for the era in which you speak of.

Well, all I have to say is that the gays can get married, however, I think it is extremely wrong to force a church to marry two homos, and I hope that it never comes to that.

Re: Congrats to California
Legal marriage is one thing, and I'm good with that. It's fine. You are definitely fucking stupid if you think being married from a legal/governmental standpoint should be illegal for gays.
But yeah, like the guy above me said, if it ever comes to gays demanding to married in a religious sense, I couldn't support that. I don't like religion, but forcing a church to accept people they view as sinners isn't right, even if it's all a bunch of horse shit anyway.

Re: Congrats to California
I'm sure a lot flies over your head, actually. Considering the Greeks and Romans only became degenerate towards the decline of their empire, all nations who are declining into barbarism have a similar cycle...
Hilariously enough, I agree - I just have the opposite definition of "degeneration." I hold 'degeneration' to involve burning books and trying to kill off diversity as some way to avoid facing the fact that you fail in life... and you consider 'degeneration' as what happens when not everyone is exactly like you.
Luckily, history prefers my side. The Spartan agoge centered around the relationship between the pais and his eromenos from the start. Similarly, Solon, founder of Athenian law, placed homosexual pedophilia as the highest virtue; when, centuries later, people like you started to question it... athens died.
The Sufi tradition of boylove was the arabic golden age, while Iran's "we don't have homosexuals in Iran" is a symptom of a middle east which is not the pinnacle of global learning and culture. The rampant homosexuality, pedophilia, and occasional donkey show of the pre-Caesarian times was, in fact, the height of the Republic, while the extreme homophobia 1,000-1,500 years later, under the Roman Catholic Empire founded by Caesar Constantine, is called "the dark ages," dude... you'd think that would be, like, a sign?
...I could continue indefinately; the dark ages gave way to the rampant sexual tolerance of the rennaisance, while the victorian ethos destroyed the british empire...
...but suffice to say, history does not support your position - unless you hope to be the destroyer of civilization. One of the most poigniant examples to come to mind would be spain's islamic golden age, and spain's islamic dark age. Quite the illustrative contrast.
'n re: teh church convo, above... I agree that no specific church should be forced to perform a ritual. I also feel that no church should have its rituals disbarred by government. The "no establishment of religion" bit is, IMO, far more important than the red herring of "gay marriage" - accept any rite, gay marriage included, equally, or get government out of the church-sanctioning game totally.
That's the law.

That has more to do with abundant resources, human and natural, than it does with economic systems. The reason it is a reality in some countries and in others not is independant of economic systems. Fact is, America is just as corrupt as any other third world country, the only difference is that the pie is bigger, so somewhat "middle class" people have the illusion that they are getting more of the pie.
I agree, too bad you have failed to post a credible source stating that they're 150 holidays for a peasant.
I was off by 45. The average medieval peasent got 105 holidays.
"However, peasants of the middle ages enjoyed many holidays, both religious and non-religious, which meant that the peasant worked for about 260 days a year. The life of the peasant was extremely difficult, but enjoying holidays kept spirits high. "

Depends on your philosophy of life, whether today's world is better or not. Considering the high rate of suicide, ludicrous consumption of "anti-depressants", and massive consumption of alcohol, I beg to differ.
Not burned at the stake for thinking differently? People are sent to prison in Canada, Germany, and France, for saying the holocaust was an exaggeration. In America you don't go to jail, but people with politically incorrect or controversial beliefs certainly are burned at the stake, atleast metaphorically, but it's the same deal. The reason its different is because nowadays people value things such as "career" and material posessions over their lives, and they lose their career easily for stating things certain interests don't want you to hear (such as DR watson who said Africans weren't as intelligent as westerners). You don't need to burn people at the stake when you have the power of mass media, like certain moneyed and sinister interests have, you just agitate and the masses of asses do your bidding for you.

Yes, I don't want to live in a place that holds values in high regards, I just hate "diversity". In that case why stop at homosexuality? Let's legalize beastiality. While we're at it, let's give those freedom loving pedophiles their "god given " civil rights! It would add to diversity.
While you may think this is an exagerration, trust me, 20-30 years from now people will be saying exactly that. Diversity is just a codeword for rootless cosmopolitanism.

Greek Historians like Plato speak to the contrary of this.
This video is a good summary of Greek opinion and policies on homosexuality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsrVsx705fI
Greeks considered homosexuality to be shameful and disgusting. Romans did aswell.
...I could continue indefinately; the dark ages gave way to the rampant sexual tolerance of the rennaisance, while the victorian ethos destroyed the british empire...
policies on sexuality destroyed an empire?
Typical of a modern decadent fag. Sex is the religion of secular societies.

What is your point? The greatest civilizations of human history were quite homogenous and had laws made of iron that ALL people were expected to follow.

20-30 years my ass. I'll say it right now.
Diversity is just a codeword for rootless cosmopolitanism.
And I know my roots quite well, you maniacal bastard.
Greek Historians like Plato speak to the contrary of this.
Which came first...
- Plato?
- Solon?
Thanks for proving my exact assertion, genius. ;)
Greeks considered homosexuality to be shameful and disgusting. Romans did aswell.
lolwut?
In sparta, that the pais select his eromenos to be his sponsor was mandated, not some "optional" action that took place in the shadows.
policies on sexuality destroyed an empire?
Let's see...
- there was a british empire.
- it got a wild repressive hair up its arse.
- suddenly, there was no more british empire.
Correlation may not equal causation, but the timeline itself is unquestionable.
Typical of a modern decadent fag. Sex is the religion of secular societies.
Aetheism has been the religion of enlightened societies, generally.
What is your point? The greatest civilizations of human history were quite homogenous
lolwut?
Let's start by pointing out that greece, phonecia, and egypt happened to be at the nexus of the trade routes, which basically screws the whole "homogeneosity" theory.
...then, once again, I'll invite you to contrast Spain's Islamic golden age with Spain's Islamic dark age. It's a charming case study on civilization.

Re: Congrats to California
This conversation is going nowhere. Until this kid can tell me what he wants out of life/society and what his ideal culture would be, it's just going to be a back and forth survey of him telling me what he doesn't like. A rant aimed directly at america evolved into an emo rant against all things western. Dont like money, dont like careers, people aren't equal, hitler is cool, we should all live like medieval peasants, blah blah. Uncited BS about life expectancy being higher 200 years(it wasn't. prove me wrong. extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence), an off tangent-rant about anyone not agreeing with common beliefs is outcasted(no shit? This is new? Galileo?)
It's not my burden to defend all things American. There are a few things I even agree with, but America is hardly as flawed as this guy is calling it. Enlighten us all with your guide to life.

Well, CtBT is a self-proclaimed Nazi who idolizes Adolph Hitler, according to his words.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. The Nazis were marketing geniuses. And the germans are among the most hardworking people out there. He can't possibly contradict himself THAT much, can he?
