How effective is smoking heroin? I snorted a cap last night, and got pretty fucked up. Some good dope. Well, I abandoned the needle (twas quite difficult I must say), but as a former shooter, and new snorter, how would smoking compare to all of this.



Also question here for meta: do you have hepatitis C? Have you ever shared a needle with anyone even once? And how does it effect you now? I shared a needle once (it was my first time doing it) and I think he has hepatitis C. It would really really suck if I actually had it. Man :(.

I donno, it was a white rock, now it's white powder. Maybe a very slight greyish tiny but very little. In general, how does smoking it compare to snorting?

When I first started using heroin I snorted it. But after a couple of years I switched to smoking it. I find it to work much better.

As for Hep, no I don't have it. But then there's no reason I would as I have never used a needle in my life.

And congrats on giving up the needle. I hope you can stay off. It was probably one of the best things you could have done for yourself.

Oh, that actually kinda surprises me. Damn, I really hope I don't have it, that would be horrible :(. But yeah, my life did a complete 180 nose dive into the ground when the needle went into my arm for the first time. I can snort small amounts every now and then and be fine, but shooting was the worse mistake I've made, probably ever in my life so yeah you're completely right on that. Thanks Meta.

It sounds like you got no.4 heroin. Normally I would say not to smoke it, its very wasteful. But some no.4's smoke well and if it works for you go ahead. Whatever keeps you off the needle
