I'm sorry totse, i don't normally rant about anything. I don't normally post either. But i'm curious as to everyone else's experiences.

I've done little psychedelic drugs like weed and DXM and LSD for about 4 years now, and RX stuff for like 2 years, although not a lot. I've taken special precautions not to get too into anything and i've always managed to keep myself in good standing. I never wanted to move on to harder street drugs and I don't think I will.

But my problem is, I don't get high like i used to on RX stuff or DXM. LSD and weed still work like charms of course. But everything else seems so boring, like taking oxy. I could rail 2 oxy (which is good for my tolerance lvl (80mg)) and I would feel the same, but I don't find it as good. I couldn't just sit there high on oxy or DXM for hours (esp. DXM, it's so boring even at like 1.2 grams).

Does the magic ever come back? Will I ever be content with these drugs again and just sitting around "tripping" or "nodding"? Or have I just grown out of them?

I'm really blazed right now and it always makes me think of things a lot differently from when sober, or any other drug for that matter.

The reason i want to ask BLTC is because i know a lot of you guys do some crazier drugs than me. So does it get you high anymore? Do you still have times that feel "epic"? Even after X years doing the same drugs?

Weed is the only drug that makes any sense to do anymore..

If you're happy just smoking weed then take this as a realization not a problem.. You don't have to go through the fucked up roads of addictions chasing highs and shit you can just have some fun chilling and smoking some bud. You're lucky.

I know what you mean. Getting completely trashed just isn't what it used to be. It's because you're used to the drugs now. You know what to expect. What's missing is that sense of wonder about what might happen. This is one reason why moderation is the key to drugs.

1. don't do said drugs that don't get you high and decrease your tolerance
2. do said drugs and get really high
3. ????????
4. profit

I'm a big proponent of the Once Every 6 Months Philosophy. I reckon never taking drugs except around new year's eve and your birthday is a lot more magical than just doing them once ever 2 weeks like most people.

whoa ^^^ are you talking about weed too?? i could understand only doing acid twice a year, or other strong hallucinogens, but EVERY drug? even alcohol..wheres the fun in that? ive been in italy for the last week, without weed, and i miss it so bad, true, over here theres no drinking age, but alcohol is a piss poor substitute for ganja

Why do you think I don't do most drugs now? It's because it's just not fun anymore. Too many bad sides to the little fun I still get.

Sure I still smoke pot, but I haven't been baked in many years; and I smoke only the finest pot in Cali.

I can safely say that with DXM it will NEVER EVER EVER come back. Opiates...well maybe that's just you. Then again I haven't done very many opiates in terms of repeated use...I've tried alot of them, but always discontinue use pretty immediately because of terrible side effects that can occur (EXTREME addiction).

I've noticed that setting is very important. Maybe you just need a change of scenery, if not a change of drugs.

Moderation is key.

I dont think the first times ever come back. First time is the best time. That's what drugs are all about.

Where did you get 1.2 grams of DXM, Cough syrup? Bulk order? I would very much like to know.

you need to get HEALTHY.. exercise bitch..
