I'm terribly sorry to ask what is more than likely a very stupid/obvious question, but here goes:

Yesterday I took MDMA for the second time in my life, it was a single pill, and it had PMA in it. I'm not overly experienced with drugs, and I had a bad trip on it (I passed out a few times, got really depressed at times, that sort of thing).

Anyway, after the affects had more-or-less worn off, I ended up sleeping for about 8 hours, and I've been up for about 2 hours now, and I've got a fever, my heart is beating very quickly, my head is spinning, and I generally feel like crap. Is this any cause for alarm, or is this common? I read on Erowid that PMA makes your body temperature increase, and roughly coincides with how I'm feeling now. But should these affects still be happening roughly 10 hours after the trip finished?

Like I said before, I'm still pretty much a newbie when it comes to this sort of thing, so if this is a stupid question, I apologize for wasting your time.

Relax
Don't hesitate to call an ambulance if things get worse, and make sure to tell them that you believe you ingested PMA. Don't beat around the bush.

Your in a bad situation

Also, drink lots of water. The fever might be from dehydration.

Obviously, take some APAP or Aleve or something too, that will help with the headache.

If your symptoms do start getting significantly worse, I would recommend calling an ambulance like stated above.

Tell them what you took, you won't get in trouble. Hospitals and cops are not in cahoots with each other and they respect your privacy as far as that is concerned.

Better safe than sorry.

Hydrating your body should help a lot, though.

But really, you're probably okie dokie. Unless it's been you're walking around THEN pass out like on your face shit. If you nod off you're probably ok, unless it's a very sudden experience. If you nod off in an instant, wake up sweating with a racing heart... that's bad news.

Yeah PMA is some really nasty shit, I would suggest going to go see a doctor about it and getting checked over if things get any worse although chances are the worst of it is over now and you are just experiencing a really bad comedown. If you do go to hospital don't worry about telling them what you have done, they cant actually do anything about you apart from lecture you a little and by law they have to check you over as well as abide by doctor-patient confidentiality laws. I briefly knew two people this year who have died because of PMA adulterated pills and a few others who became ill (from separate batches too.)

I got it off a friend at a party. He didn't mention the fact it had PMA in it until after I'd taken it. Thanks for the first flame of the thread, though. I was waiting for that to happen. :)

Anyway, I went to the hospital, and they gave me the once over. I told them what happened and they said there wasn't anything to worry about--I got a doctor who was just out of uni, and he was pretty cool about it, he just told me to be more careful in the future.

I'm still feeling like shit, but I'm not sure whether it has anything to do with the pill or not (it's probably coincidental since I've been a little under the weather).
