| Cellular Mods Your cell phone is really just a specialized computer with a wireless network connection. It has the software that your cellular provider has picked for you, but their software sucks. Why not replace what they give you with better software that has more features? |

Too small inbox
So I have the enV, the first one. I've had the phone not long since it came out, and I love it, but my concern is it only holds 50 damn texts in the inbox.
Is there a way in which I can expand the inbox to hold an unlimited amount or at least up it to like 150 or something? I get 50 texts in like two hours. I don't call people, and if someone calls me, I hand it to the closest person near and let them talk to the person.
Anyway, thanks guys.

Does it have a space for a memory card?

It's sad to think, but we kind of need a mod in this forum if registration is to be open.

Re: Too small inbox
all Verizon phones have this problem, not just the enV. Verizon cripples their phones horribly.

Re: Too small inbox
Only way possible is to flash your phones firmware with a generic flash, or the flash of another carrier. The only problem is that you'd would have to physically input all your Verizon's configurations..and as you don't know it I wouldn't recommended it because doing it the first time is annoying.
Plus, there's a chance it can modify your ESN, making it more problematic, and even to the point of killing your phone.

Re: Too small inbox
Can I flash my phone with a camera flash instead ?
Will that kill my phone ?
Also, I didn;t have any firmware, can I use looseware instead ?

Just phone your provider and let them know you want to reprogram the phone. With most companies they will have you flash it right away.
