 How often do you drink?
I've been drinking once a week for a good while now. People tell me that's too much and I may have a problem. But I don't see what the fuck they are talking about.
How often do you drink? And at what point does drinking become a problem?

there are basically 2 types frinking binge drinking and social /lite drinking.
i drink "for the taste" every so often but only get pissed when the occasion calls for it.

Twice a week usually, dropped off for exam period, after exams, 4 maybe 5 time a week most likely. That's when it will become a problem.

I drink around 2-3 times a week, but most of the time its for my sleeping problems.
If i don't drink or smoke it usually takes me a good 2-3 hours of lying awake in my bed to fall asleep, but when I'm intoxicated its instant sleep.

Up until about a month ago, I was drinking about a 18 pack or 10 drinks a night. Now I'm down to three or four beers every other day. Fuck the DTs.
As long as you're not drinking everyday, or every other day, and you're not drinking until you pass out, you should be fine.

Drinking once a week is not a problem. Maybe if you're like 12 or something but if not tell your friends to shut up and grab a beer too.
Its what I do and then everybody's drunk so I don't have people telling me its a problem.

I'll go out on a Friday &/or Saturday night and get drunk, 10-15 drinks or so.
Then a few times during the week I'll go out with my girlfriend for a meal or see a movie and have a few drinks, maybe 2 or 3.
Having a few drinks a few times a week is good for morale, but go over the top and you'll make yourself ill  |

actually im in an internet cafe in sicily, drinking a 40 right now...gotta love their 16 drinking age!! but, yea, during last summer i drank like 4 times a week, and it wasnt a problem, and now i drink about twice a month, i only really like drinking at huge parties, or if someone brings a bottle of vodka on a chill night, but my favored drug nowadays is the ganja, hands down, and OP, your friends are dumbfucks, drinking once a week is nothing...hahahah, what a joke. i just ran into these homeless italian alcoholics who have sores on there mouth and shit, and they drink 24/7, and they begged for my cigs and are really annoying, so as long as you keep it moderate, (once a week or so) you wont end up like them, youll do fine in life, stop worrying. peace

I use to drink everyday, about 8-16oz or so of that hard brown liquid a day, so I guess I was an alcoholic. -However I stopped that shit a long time ago, and nowadays I drink very rarely, but if one was to ask whats my favorite drug alcohol would have to be #1.

Usually I get pretty drunk about twice a week, I recently got black out drunk about 20 nights out of a month, then just stopped for 3 weeks because I needed to start working and I had no problem doing that. Once a week should be fine.

I used to drink a lot, but now I limit myself to once a week. I have a pregnant girlfriend I spend a lot of time with, so I don't party as much as I used to. I like to have one day out of the week where I can live it up with my buddies. Might as well wihle I can.
Today is my live it up night. :)

I used to drink fairly often, and it would become a routine for me to drink pretty much all weekend (Friday night to Sunday afternoon); but now I'm only doing it occasionally (usually once every second weekend).

I get drunk maybe once or twice a week on average, but I'll have a drink another couple days out of the week. So... I consume at least a little alcohol about every other day. That's probably pretty bad but I'm not that concerned about it.

Weekdays after work I crack a beer or three sit around watching c-span, making jewelry, or bulshitting on AIM with people...
Weekends I get consistently shitty with my buddies. Sometimes I go out thursday night to grab a couple but usually friday or saturday are big party nights involving funneling gallons of shitty beer and rocking flasks to various parties and events or concerts, blacking out, and mistakes or miserable failures with women... I was probably happier when I did other drugs than alcohol... but oh well it's social

I drink about 5 days a week but only a 40 or a couple tall boys with a few shots. I only get trashed a couple times a week though. The only place I can buy alcohol is this place about 10 miles down the highway by my friends house and I don't like getting drunk and driving home so unless my friend brings some shit to my house I'm not getting trashed.
I don't feel that I have a problem, but I do know it's only a matter of time since everyone on both sides of my family are alcoholics.

I got absolutely wankered last night at a beer festival for the first time in months and I remember very little. I drink on a regular basis as a social thing (like a few times a week) but I very very rarely drink to get drunk and I usually stay sober (alcohol wise) in most social situations. I prefer to partake in other drugs although ironically I often get looked down on by pissed up stuck up uni students for being mildly stoned or tripping whilst they cant even stand up or string a sentence together and look like complete tits.

it's summer bro, and if your 21 and your not getting drunk at least 3 days out of the week, then you've got a problem. I usually only drink once a week(if that) during school, but in the summer, everybody throws a fucking kegger.

This is the exact same thing that I thought ,but when I turned 21 alcohol just didn't seem the same and I have all but stopped drinking maybe 2-3 times a month but everyones different and your mileage may vary |

I get smashed on most fridays and saturdays. I'd feel like shit on sundays but, that's what sundays are for right.
I don't think I have a drinking problem. I have friends that drink alot more. And I think they don't have a drinking problem either... Well maybe one or two do, but nothing serious.
We drink mostly beer though, but hey, we're from Belgium for a reason right. =D
