So me and my girlfriend broke up a few weeks ago, and we agreed it was mutual, but it doesn't feel that way. I miss her. She said she didn't want to talk to me, and I would still call her/txt her, but it was mostly arguing and such. I sent her some texts and calls trying to just act like its normal, but they weren't much. She was getting pissed that I was still getting a hold of her, even though it was only every few days, so I stopped for a week or two.

Today, I could not find it for the life of me, so I text her "Friendly enough to help me find buds?"

I figured she was out of minutes, which she was, so she called me and asked if I texted her. I asked her about it, she said no, I said okay then bye. She hung on the line for a bit, but I hung up normally.

My query is, if she doesn't want to talk to me, why would she bother calling? Wouldn't she just ignore it completely? I don't know if I should try and get back with her or anything, but does this seem like a sign of anything to any of you?

I probably read too much into it, and I'm not as attached as this might suggest. I just have been getting some here n there, n casual sex isn't as much fun as it used to be. I miss the meaningful bit behind it.

Well I wasn't planning to chase after it even if that did mean something. I'd still sit on it for a while, and like I said, I don't think I do want to get back with her, but I don't want to lose a friend.

Who cares if she wants to talk to you or not secretly. All that matters is what she says and a bitch who says don't talk to me either wants to have the upper hand and the power in the situation, or literally doesn't want to talk to you. So either way, fuck her and find some bud with someone else.
