What's goin on fellas. well tonight i'm getting this girl i met a few days back to join me on the beach tonight. Now as the title says a bag of weed and a bottle of wine. now i know my share of beers and hard alcohols, but tonight i was thinking of going with wine. I've never actually bought wine before and i know it, like everything else, can range from cheap to really expensive. So i'm looking for a nice wine to get me and her drunk. I obviously don't want some $2 bottle of gut rot bum wine, nor do i want to shell out $100 on some 1975 bottle of merlot. So what's your recommendation, i'm not too worried about how it tastes, but i definetly want something she'll enjoy. So tell me what will taste good, and get us nice and drunk?

I like port wine. It's fortified with brandy to get it to about 20% alcohol. There's a brand called Benjamin's that's a pretty good balance between price and taste.

Failing that, you can go to the grocery store and just compare prices. They usually have some decent stuff, but not a lot that's gonna break the bank. You can even usually find some local wines (at least in my area, I don't know how well grapes grow where you are) that tend to be fairly good.

Nope i live in bullshit rhode island and they only sell alcohol in the liqour stores, not at like a gas station or a stop n' shop. so can't really compare prices that much. i guess anything under $20 will do the trick.

I was saying to compare prices between different bottles at the store. As a general rule, you get what you pay for, but not always.

Get two bottles at least.
Preferably not red, it goes down harder.
I wouldn't recommend spending more than $20 max.
Anything above that you probably won't appreciate the taste difference (nothing personal, but you're not at a wine tasting event on the beach).
