 Interesting shit to do
So, in thinking about things I could do with this girl I want to go out with, I started looking around to see what was happening in the city. I know a few places with blues music on weekends, some places with various rock bands (usually the ones I've seen have ended up playing lots of classic rock) and apparently there are also lots of jazz places.
The idea of taking someone out to dinner or a movie makes me physically ill, so I thought "hay, why not go to a nice bar place where a classy band is playing". Well, jazz was the obvious option.
I actually have a specific place and event in mind, though I'm curious...if she isn't into jazz, would it still be a good idea? I'm not even into jazz, unless it's like...Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, or Latin Jazz. I listened to some music from the band that's gonna be playing, and apparently they do a lot of "smooth jazz" type crap. In it's favor, few people actually hate jazz, it would be a pretty unique outing, and it's classy, but not obnoxiously so.
Anyways, the point: I'll assume if she's into me, she'd be willing to go regardless, but if she wasn't really fond of jazz, would it still be a good idea, or is it important to attend something she particularly likes?

And if she starts to see you as an artsy faggot instead of the outgoing fun-loving person you are(well, at least try to be one)?
Give her some excitement man. At least take her out bowling or some other event where you can show off. The only thing you can do at a jazz place to elevate yourself is to talk about what you know about jazz. Then again with an extensive knowledge of jazz you may come across as lame.
