Does anyone know why drug tests test for PCP?

I personally don't know anyone who has done it, nor do any of my friends.

The same reason sentencing for crack is so much more severe than powder.

It's not that popular a drug anymore although people definitely still do it, I think testing for it is kind of ridiculous and meant to target minorities and the poor.

i think its kind of stupid that they test for PCP, its not popular at all. if i were to make a five-panel drug test it would be of marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, and benzos

I was looking through drug test stats at my workplace and 0% pissed hot for PCP. I haven't heard of anyone using or selling PCP the last few years. PCP has a bad reputation because of all the black people going crazy on it.

i am pritty sure the real reson is becouse it started to become more main stream the same time drug testing did 80s 90s and it was feared it could become a new drug epademic (sp)
