Younger Girlfriend Problems
So I'm 17 and a (soon to be) Senior in high school, and shes 15 and a (soon to be) Sophmore; Her birthday is 1 week before mine. I met her near the end of this school year, and a week after meeting her it was pretty obvious that we were gonna start dating. She told her parents about 'us', and they disapprove COMPLETELY. I'm not the first boyfriend shes had. They say I'm way too old for her, even though they've never met me, and they won't let me see her.
Her mom pretty much hates her; they don't get along very well, but shes not the rebellious type, so she cant just say 'fuck you' to her mom and see me anyways.
What should I do? I really want to date this girl, but I don't think thats possible unless I change her parents mind somehow. Help?

Re: Younger Girlfriend Problems
If i were in your situation, the best thing to do, is meet her parents. try to talk and prove to them that you are a civil, respectable figure. after you gain their trust, they won't think of you as just a random guy who wants some poon. maybe it could change their mind.

Re: Younger Girlfriend Problems
You have to make an effort to make a good impression. Show them that you're not some skeezy guy looking to take advantage of their little girl.
If you're serious about this you should call them up, introduce yourself and kind of explain to them that you really like their daughter and you'd like to meet them so that they can get to know you before forming an opinion about you. Be polite and respectful and you'll win them over in no time flat.

Re: Younger Girlfriend Problems
2 years is nothing man, are you serious? I like a girl who's 4 years younger than me, you think you have problems.
The posts above me are solid. Just follow their advice and your good. Oh and dress real nice when you meet them. You dont want to look like a bum.

Re: Younger Girlfriend Problems
One of the most loving and serious high school relationships that I ever saw was between a Sophmore and a Senior. Hell, they're still dating even if he's at Cal, but my town is just a couple miles from campus.

Re: Younger Girlfriend Problems
her parents are ridiculous when I was 13 I went out with a 19 year old so thats 6 years difference and my mum didn't mind at all because she trusted me. 2 years isn't a big deal, so if her parents think it is.... then they're probably not the kind of people that are going to listen to reason and take any notice whatsoever of how nice a person you are.
Give up.... or if you like her THAT much.... wait until she's 18.

Re: Younger Girlfriend Problems
Try to reason with parents.
If this fails just see her without their consent, they can't keep her locked up inside the whole time.
If they do lock her in a cage, bust her out and go and live in barbados.

Re: Younger Girlfriend Problems
My girlfriend is two years younger than me. Her parents hated it at first but after a month or so they accepted it.
