Liquid DOI and how to change that
I have 15 mgs(in theory) of DOI in liquid form, small glass tinted vial. What would be the best way to evaporate the distilled water and leave me with the powdered DOI I'm so used to doing? My guy used solution because it is easier to distribute than weighing individual mgs. Air dry, heat it gently, what? The melting point for DOI is somewhere around 340 farenheit.

Re: Liquid DOI and how to change that
Why do you need it in powder? Unless you have a mg scale, it'll be much easier to dose in liquid.
If you do have a mg scale and must have powder, you could boil a pot of water, put a plate on top of it and pour your liquid on the plate Water will only get to 212 unless it's under presure. It will dry most of it up, but you'll still have to let the last remnants dry naturally.

Re: Liquid DOI and how to change that
Thanks, I was considering doing it like an alcohol heating with boiled water but wasn't sure what the temp was. I don't have a MG scale, but I'm doing all 15. I've had alot of DOI experience (IM, power, and oral liquid), and know 15 is fine(LD50 is somewhere above a gram of DOI for humans). If you have any other ideas, feel free to post, but I'll more than likely use the first suggestion.

Air dry- put liquid in a dish in front of a fan and scrape powder.
Oven- liquid on a tray and scrape

oh what the hell guys, its prolly only a few ml of water. put it in a small easyly scraped dish with walls that it wont egt stuck in(may eb enough jsut to let the surface tension hold it on a flat plane). and let it sit for a day. not outside der.
