Buying a car at 16.... I need a loan.
okay, so I have been having steady jobs since I was 15.. being able to make a good 500 a month while going o school..
I am 16 now, I have a 1000 credit card (maxed out) and a growing savings account...
Since I got my new job at CVS, and my drivers license back in October I've been planning to get a car. I've been driving this rusty little bucket of a pick up since I got my license and I feel its time for me to get a new car.
My parents cant buy me a car, they use all their money to pay bills so I have to provide myself with food clothes etc until our property in Europe is finished so we can sell it.
What exact processes should I go through to buying a car? How exactly does financing work and how can I get a loan from the bank with minimum interest and minimum monthly rate. My parents have decent credit and can co-sign for me if its necessary, but I would prefer I don't involve them in this.
What would be the best route for me to take...?

You can't buy a car at 16. You would have to get your parents (or someone older than 18 whom you trust) to buy it for you.
edit: Also, pay off your credit cards before you try to buy a car.

You're going down the wrong road fast. How do you have a $1000 worth of debt at 16? How do you even have a credit card at 16? And on top of that, you want to take out an expensive car loan?
Teenagers have no fiscal sense whatsoever.

Seriously. Pay off the credit card, cut it in half, then think about buying a car. You have to prioritise here.

Re: Buying a car at 16.... I need a loan.
I was under the impression you needed to be 18 to get a credit card? At least that's what it was here in Canada.
Also start thinking more about what your doing, don't get a fucking loan so you can buy a new car. Especially your age and working at CVS. Your going to need to pay your insurance plus your loan off, also whatever interest builds up in the years to come while your paying it off. It's not a wise thing to do at your age.
Other than that your going to get rejected. They wont give your a loan for a car at your age, fuck they won't even give you one period at your age. This is unless it's for some kind of educational program, even then it will be a hard time. I haven't heard of someone 16 years old yet getting a load from the bank.

That's the way it is in the US as well. But some banks don't give a shit. When I opened a checking and savings account at Bank of America when I was 17, they sent me a credit card (not an offer, and actual credit card) along with my debit card.

Your credit is maxed and yet you want another loan?
See that is why so many dumb fucks are so far in debt and they wonder how they got there in the first place?
You're the reason we are having a recession.

Re: Buying a car at 16.... I need a loan.
This has nothing to do with the OPs ridiculous financial irresponsibility(get a car loan while you're already $1000 in debt, fuck this country is full of idiots. In 2 years you're going to want a subprime mortgage too!) , but I know two brothers that went to the dealership last week with their parents and got 2 brand new BMWs(08) for themselves, a 335 twin turbo and a 1 series, as birthday gifts.

Re: Buying a car at 16.... I need a loan.
it helps so much when your parents are loaded, just pay off your credit card, and try to save at least 2g's for a down payment, if your parents have any kind of credit they can co sign and that will help out alot

Re: Buying a car at 16.... I need a loan.
He's lying. About it all i should think. 16 = not getting a loan. Debt on any card in your name is your debt. And if you sell a property you cant earn rent form it you dumb fuck, in Europe or any other place in the world when you sell a property you dont own it anymore.
