I used to get high off opiates in my young teens, great times, smoked some weed for a period of 6 months, got super high.

Last year I tried one hit of weak acid and had extreme euphoria, laughing my ass off, and mild visuals.

This year opiates still work, mdma works fine (except for my tolerance). But if I smoke weed, even the best canada can offer me, I get stoned but not high.

I did a couple bumps of coke on friday, a couple bumps and shared 2 lines on saturday, and did what was left (5/8) of a gram on saturday night and all I got was my heart pounding and a headache, no buzz whatsoever, I even cooked a little and didnt get nothing smoked.

Ive done ~50 hits of acid in the past year of 3-4 different kinds and while I have gotten great OEV's usually on 4 hits, 6 and 9 hits was not mindblowing. I dont get any extreme thinking, life changing moments, I dont get the euphoria, laughter, or comeup even. CEV's are non existant unless I REALLY plan the set & setting or if Im with friends I get mild CEV's. The only thing worth it for me in acid is musical euphoria which is mild at best. I do have 10 hits of hunab ku acid which is about twice as strong as anything ive had in the past, and im excited to try it and see if its a change from anytihng ive had previously. Its been about 2 weeks since my last trip.

I was recently diagnosed with depression and prescriped prozac, I decided to take 5-htp 1 to 2 times daily to see if it helps and ifs helped my mood alot, but not fully. I dont really wanna mess with prozac, especially with my love of mdma, but if it can fix everything else it might be worth it. What else could possibly be wrong with me?

Have you gone a week without a mind altering substance in the past year? If no, then you're overdosing your body over a long period of time. Your body is being bombarded with substances and it's finally starting to catch up with them.

Quit for a month. Your tolerance will drop and it will be fun again.

edit: if you don't have a coke tolerance, and you're getting no euphoria (even when you smoke it) but a racing heart, your shit is CUT w/ some other type of stimulant. I'm sorry to say.

Can you put your problem into simpler terms?

Your getting stoned but not getting high? There's a difference? Maybe it's just your mind playing tricks on you.

And stay away from the prozac. The chance of it actually helping you is slim to none from my experience, and it will dull the effects of most hallucinogens.

Like the above posters said... lay off stuff for a month or so and take it easy, see what happens.

Im getting stoned in that I get the munchies, sleepy, relaxed etc. but its not entertaining or mind altering in anyway, which I guess it really shouldnt be all that often

In the past year and a half.. ive definitly gone 2 weeks to a month without a few times, but in the past 8-10 months. definitly not. When I did stop taking acid every weekend for 3 weeks, I had an amazing trip (compartitivly) from 4 hits, vivid but not holy shit CEV'S and OEV's, music trpped me right the fuck into space, I candyflipped at +3 hours and kinda had a mildly bad trip though. Perhaps I should take it easy on acid till late late june, perhaps I have some sort of tolerance.

The coke numbed my gums, so it had at least some, and my buddy who I shared the lines with is a semi-regular user, and he said he got friggin high off 1-2 lines. Another dude who isnt a regular user, had some of the same batch last week and was so euphoric while we were chilling. I did 5-10x as much as they did over the course of a night and only had a buzz on the first couple bumps, and the first nigh tI did a few bumps and felt good. How fast does coke tolerance build up?


I cant really afford to go a couple months without substances as I enjoy being fucked up once in a while, its a different mindset thats enjoyable but not overwhelming. MDMA is especially my weekend drug right now. I guess im turning into an example of the down gradation of society. I just wanna have a fun summer, been like 30 years since the summer of love.

I actually dont smoke weed andmore, and im kind've turned off of coke now. I just want to find myself on acid again, I definitly could give it up for a month, will my brain return to the cosmos possibly hmm..

I feel like im all coked up again talking so much haha.

Lidocaine, novacaine, benzocaine... any local anesthetic will numb your gums. It's by no means an indication of actual cocaine.

I'm all for a life of excess and hedonism, Hunter S Thompson style. But if they're not doing anything for you, lay off. Excess in moderation. Take a large amount every few weeks or so, not a mediocre amount every other day. You're setting yourself up for psychological addictions and physical problems.

I love getting all doped up and wild on drugs, but I can't imagine doing it everyday. Sure it's fun to be in an altered mindset, but if you're never "normal", then you're simply living in a fantasy world. Get real bro before you find yourself in a clinic.

this is not the case, i have done coke many times with little to no euphoria, i used to not understand why people liked it so much, but if your talking about smoking crack i never did that so i cant say. like i said the other day coke is way over rated

sounds like a defective brain. but you get stoned, so smoke shittier pot if thats your problem, or a full sativa strain. no one should be complaining about a good stone though. pots not the thing making you entertained, but merely a stepping stone..


but lsd and mdma are two very enjoyable things in life, so even if you stick to them, your attempting a noble thumb. [IMO with responsible use you should never have a problem]






i'd avoid the SSRI completely. you might find a better way to deal with it in a good afterglow.

i used to be that way with weed.........i took a month (exactly) off of smoking and the first day i smoked i rolled a fatty and smoked the fuck out of it, and i was the highest i've been in a LONG time.........before i quit i would smoke like 3 big blunts and not even be that buzzed.


opiates are different for me though.......i used to be into pills BAD but havent done hardly any lately, but like 2 weeks ago i had 25 vicoden 5's and i had to do like 80mg just to get a decent buzz........my tolerance for opiates doesn't go down for some reason.

Im going to take 2 weeks off, and do some MDMA and see if it kicks my ass again.

Im going to abstain from lsd for 31 days (having a huge acid party on the 10th)

I think it could possibly be ive temporarily fried my whatever receptors.

3-4x a week mdma abuse for a few weeks, weekly acid use for 8 month and 3 night of coke in a row, finally just plugged up the dopamine/seretonic receptors. I beleive LSD is hypothesized to affect some sort of "happy chemical" receptors.

Thats my best guess, so I'll listen to everyones advice and take a break.
