I've never touched it, but I hear that smoking pure heroin is supposed to work. Actually to tell you the truth, I saw it on American Gangster. If you havn't seen it yet you should check it out.

The thing about tar is that it first of all like you said is not pure but it is in base form and ment to be smoked. Powder h is usually in salt form so it may have different vape temps. The only powder we get around here though is just "brown sugar heroin" which is black tar that has been converted to powder. Whn you blow on the brown sugar stuff it turns back into tar.

If you live on the East Coast where it is all powdered heroin and not tar, then yeah go for smoking it. Chasing the dragon is how I did it - I tried using a meth pipe a few times but it really isn't a good idea. The way the tar expands and contracts as it melts and cools off and that soon makes the glass so weak that it just breaks.

Now if you're on the West Coast, I don't think I would smoke powder. And that is because in all the years I used heroin, every time someone said they had powder to sell it was only tar that had been cut into baking powder. I've never seen East Coast type dope in my life [probably won't at this point as I haven't touched the stuff in over 3 years now].

Yes, that and flour, the first couple of years I used. That was because nobody knew how to make it snortable - everyone just shot it - that we knew. So we had to come up with something on our own.

It wasn't until about 12 years later that I started to see powdered heroin on the streets - and at that it wasn't very often at all. And when I did see it it was always cut with baking powder or mannitol.

We never came up with using it, I think, because I never kept baking powder in the house so didn't think to try...We literally went through the kitchen sniffing all the various powders to see which one worked best. And while flour was best as far as no real burn went, it isn't something that's a good idea to stick up your nose long term - unless you don't mind day glo green snot and sinus infections...

I can pretty much gurantee that any tar on the west/southwest has impurities and cuts. The only way to know for sure is to clean it up yourself. Sure someone could make it pure, but no dealer is going to want there shit pure and if it was they would cut it themselves to make it weigh more.More weight=more money.

theres a few easy methods. ones the foil boat [bonus for making a foil straw to go with it] and chasing that way...

if you mix it with water and try to vape it on foil it is going to bubble, boil, spurt, and spray all over the place.
