diazepam (valium) is it really worth much, recreationally? Everyone always says xanax is so much better etc, what about the 10 mgs for 4 bucks a piece? Is that a bad deal? I think I've only done them once but I don't remember feeling shit from them so I donno

$4 a pop is way too much. If you are paying more than $1.50 its too much. Its 10x weaker than xanax so 10mg valium = 1mg xanax. So do the math from that and get your doses.

Diaz is soooo much better than alpraz in my opinion. I always get dickheady and crazy on xannies but valium makes me love everyone and just vibe out. $4 for 10mg is too much though. $1/5mg is about standard 'round here.

$2 a mg for xanax, $2 for 10mg valium...but why even buy em for that...benzo scripts are easy to get..everyone has some sort of problem that can be solved by xanax/valium.

Ive done all the main benzos, even midazolam, bromazepam(less obscure). And by far xanax is lower on my list. Diazepam is very very good, usually its about $2-3 per 10mg(blue boy).

Ditto. Xanax destroys anxiety, but it basically renders you temporarily retarded in any kind of real "recreational" dose. SO damn sedating too, and just that heavy-drunken feeling. But hey, I do enjoy that at times, too. :)

Valium was always probably my favorite benzo, when dosed high enough. Relaxed my muscles, didn't sedate me too much, and just made me feel more giddy and up-and-at-it than heavier benzos. Great benzo for people looking for a bit more of a body-buzz who want to be able to function well.

As far as anxiolytic properties go, though, Valium doesn't hold a candle to Xanax. I could "loosen up" on some Valium at say, 30 mg (assuming someone non-tolerant, which I wasn't) but I needed more like 50 mg or so to start feeling that pseudo-apathy you could get off of one Xanax bar.

If you really want to get "high" from a benzo, though, try popping 2 or 3 mg of Flunitrazepam. If you wanna get "fucked up" like Xanax, pop some Halcions; zombie-mode, activated. :D
