Default Plan B

This morning after pill is making the move from behind the counter. It should be freely available on the shelves of drug stores across the country.

A date hasn't yet been set for this move, but the recommendations and approvals are in place.

I think this is a good step for birth control. However, girls may miss out on some useful advice from a pharmicist.

Luckily, a fifty dollar price tag is still enough to make people think twice about not using a condom.

With a $50 price, I highly doubt such and easily-stolen item won't be behind a counter of some sort...

It seems that thievery isn't as big of a worry in Canada.

Keeping this product behind the counter wasn't intended to combat stealing, it was done in order to make people consult a pharmacist before use.

Oh, that's really good news. Whenever I've had to get it, I hardly ever got it at the first pharmacy I went to. Lots of pharmacists seem to have a moral objection to giving it out, it's freaking annoying. It's like you know I'm just going to go to another pharmacy and get it, so why bother objecting?

"Oh, you wont give me plan B you say? I guess I'll just wait it out then and if I am preggers oh well!"

From what I´ve heard (I´ve never had to use it myself), the morning after pill is a major hormone dump into the body, and for alot of girls it leaves them sore and weak and tired for a couple days afterwards. That can´t be good for the body. I think that in some ways it´s good to have to consult a pharmasist, to prevent girls from abusing the pill, using it as a main method of bc, and hurting themselves.

$22 at Planned Parenthood, but they're hella bitchy and always want to talk to the girl about it.

The condom fucking broke, what else is there to know?

Fuck Planned Parenthood's burocracy.

It should be in every supermarket and priced under $10.

Sure some girls are stupid enough that they would then use it like BC but they're the same girls who were dumb enough to unprotected sex in the first place. And anything that stops such people breeding is GOOD.

And even popping Plan B everyday for a month probably ain't as dangerous as a pregnancy/giving birth/having an abortion.

Yeah, nothing gets stolen in Canada. We have those RFID pillars that beep at you when you try to steal something. Everybody's scared of those.

I couldn't get out of bed for a week. It's a really big deal and shouldn't be used like the Pill.

you do realize that not every product has the necessary security tags to set those off, right? I highly doubt a package of Plan B has any security device in it. I don't remember seeing one when I opened up the one I have actually opened, but I could've missed it.

Bad Ideas is a shithole, but there are a couple of good posts regarding shoplifting and tags.

fuck spending $50 bucks on a pill just wait a few weeks and then punch your girl really hard in the stomach. then you dont have to pay $50 and you still get no baby its a win/win situation.

Disturbing?

Thats fuckin' sexy!

Seriously though...is it really that hard on you afterwards? I kept tellin this girl that I wanted to fuck her without a condom, and that I'd get a Plan B for when we finished, but i guess I'll reconsider :P

I've only ever taken it once, but I was completely fine afterwards. Not a single side effect. But here you can get it at the pharmacy for NZD$30ish... Or for free from a Family Planning clinic.

My ex bought this shit for her best friend one time. It turned out that she was pregnant, and decided she was going to have the baby. Then about 1 or 2 months later she finds out her baby is all fucked up because of that plan B shit, so they had to scoop it out of her. Really devastating.

Confused

Btw, I've used it probably ~5 times, and I never noticed any side effects. Like, at all. I even take both pills at the same time. But like someone was saying, it's a huge hormone dump on your body so I avoid using it as best possible. And like jacketch said, even if some retards do use it as regular BC, atleast they're not breeding.

Edit --^^^The pharmacist always tells me that it wont hurt the baby if you do end up pregnant...
