In defense of the male sex drive
I keep seeing men being reprimanded for having a sex drive. I see it from women, from other men, from everywhere. Two very good recent examples would be the two 'PUA' threads that have recently surfaced in S&A.
What the hell is wrong with wanting to get laid!?!?
They call it a "sex drive" for a reason. It drives us. We have this naturally inborn need to FUCK. It's part of being human. Now all of a sudden, after millions of years of reproducing sexually, we're supposed to suppress this need?
lolwut?
If people need to "sarge," or seek out drunken bar sluts, or screw prostitutes, then let them fucking do it. At least they're not out taking this sex by force. Which is probably how it was done for many, many years up until the relatively recent development of civilization.
So stop being so illogical and prudish. Let people do what they need to do, as long as it isn't hurting anybody. Y'all need to CHILL.

Re: In defense of the male sex drive
Its the "american view" society implies although getting to the bottom of it everyone is a bunch of horny SOB's. The classic saying is that women never desire sex or crave it, they never masturbate etc...its like fuck that if your human, your going to be doing 1 of the many natural activities that we being human want to do....supressing the truth.

For me, it's the fear of breeding stupidity. There's already plenty of it going around, plenty of broken families.

(What I said in the other thread, just copied here since it's essentially the same discussion):
Dude, trust me, I agree with you on this more than you can even imagine. In fact, I wish I could make it illegal to have children outside of marriage...
But the PUA thing, what I'm in defense of is just the fact that they have a need and they're finding a way to fulfill it. I've seen some of the routines and whatnot that they use, and to be quite honest, I did find it a bit pathetic at first. I mean, using canned lines or routines is quite unoriginal and boring. But there must be some out there who take away from it more than just recycled conversation material.
Regardless though, however they choose to use it is their own prerogative. We may find it to be unoriginal and clone-like, but, at least as far as I'm concerned, they're not doing anything wrong.

Yea, who's to say they aren't just slutty people that are good, so people tip them after they fuck?

Very well, I agree with you. I still think it's pathetic but I'm not condemning all those pitiful bastards. Criticizing is more appropriate.
We do have our needs and we will do whatever it takes to fulfill them.

In a way, prostitution is legal... It's called dating.
Except that it's more of a gamble because you might not get any return on your investment...

Re: In defense of the male sex drive
Ever read a womens magazine? I guarantee you if you read 12 self help books on picking up men this year, the average girl who reads cosmo will still have read more about the psychology of picking up.
People have a problem with it simply don't understand it.
In regards to using recycled openers and threads is a load of b/s, the ones most commonly used were just example openers used at training seminars and books when it was rising to fame. If anybody has bothered to read Neil Strauss' latest book he gives you inventory for hand crafting your own openers, how to start and hold threads and multi-thread.
The truth of it is, that it works. It's like dark magic though, and after you understand why people are attracted to each other, it makes things kinda cheap.
If you're just intrested in going out sarging then it's great and works wonders, but sometimes someone will come along who you place above that, and you're in the dilemma of either being yourself, which is right and genuine- But probably won't work, or being a Style-clone which will get her, but you can't get into a serious relationship knowing that you've deceived the person using evil-genius like control over them.
I see absolutely nothing wrong with using a bit of hocus pocus to pick up. Women just plain make absolutely no sense most of the time. Guys need an instruction manual. Besides 95% of those books is about how to change yourself to be more attractive, not how to manipulate women. I've dabbled in some of this stuff and picked up alot of good tips, like always have a made up bed, have a clean bathroom, get the best possible sheets so that she wants to keep coming back to your bed, all that sort of shit. Is that maniupation, or is that being a better man, one that more women would be attracted to?

QFT!
And it's not even like they need to. Men are easy enough to figure out as it is...

Re: In defense of the male sex drive
Prostitution is legal in Canada. They're called escorts. We also have massage parlors, which are just brothels. You can't sell sex, but you can sell your time, or rent a room. The sex is free ;) .
I've gone the next step and learned general psychology, not pick up tactics. I use it to manipulate people, and I'm not ashamed of it. The way I see it, I should use any skill I have to get what I want. I'm not harming women by getting them to sleep with me. They could read the same books and counter my attempts. However, I'm not putting on a show when I charm people cause it's become part of my character. What can I say, I am manipulating by nature. I'll stop playing games when everyone else does. If people want to hate me because I'm good, that's there problem.
