Saving yourself vs. Getting experienced
What are some of your opinions on this subject? I have some friends that would rather wait until they find a stable gf to have sex while others will go to a party and get drunk with a bitch just to fuck.
Saving yourself and not just picking up an easy fuck could be good for your self esteem and make you feel you are of much better quality. But then again that might not really matter much to anyone but yourself.
Having sex with a variety of partners though would give you more experience to better please your true lover and will also give you the chance to 'feel' different partners so you don't get the urge later on after marriage. I know one of my friends has been dating this chick for 4 years, says he loves her to death but would fuck another girl at the drop of a hat.
What are yalls opinions?

Re: Saving yourself vs. Getting experienced
I kinda mix and match, to some extent. I've had sex with girls I've been with for a little while, and I've had "hey, lets have sex" sex.
I respect a person that waits. It takes a great deal to save yourself for the person who is the one for you. You get to advance sexually with this person, avoiding any "where'd you learn that" conversations.
At the same time, I see it as completely acceptable to fuck your brains out. Have some fun. Enjoy some kinky ass sex. Sure, you could get an STD, but what's life without risks?

Re: Saving yourself vs. Getting experienced
I drive cars before I buy them.
I plan on fucking my wife before marrying her.
What if you "save yourself" for some girl/guy that has fucked up junk? Love goes along way, but eternity with a pencil dick/weird boobies... actually, I guess people who save themselves prolly arent the horniest anyway so maybe the above hypothetical situation wouldnt bother them a bit. And they wouldnt even know what was wrong anyway!!!
Or maybe Im just fucked up/vain becuz I want to practice micro-eugenics and make sure my offspring are well endowed whether theyre male or female... but I think that's a topic that deserves it's own thread.

I wouldn't call it "gaining experience." If you're in love with the person you're making love to then no experience is needed.

I didn't say no fucking until marriage. I meant no fucking until you find a girl you would consider marriage material.

Re: Saving yourself vs. Getting experienced
For me i'd rather have experience, which i've got, it makes the girl love having sex with you if you can make her really enjoy it and fuck her good & hard. I mean if you lasted a minute then the 'im gunna cum' came out your mouth, i don't think she'd be too impressed. Make her cum loads with your dick, tongue and fingers and she will keep coming back, and that my friends, usually requires you to know what you're doing to a degree, hence experience.
Oh and what i've found is that the more experienced you are, the less stupid decisions you make with your dick. For me atleast.

Get a lot of experience.
The more girls you bone now, the less tempted you'll be when you get into a serious relationship.

Agreed completely. It shouldn't matter.

I don't agree with this. The way I see it, there are people who are going to cheat and those who are going to stay committed. It has everything to do with the individual and the relationship, not past experience.

Absolutely. But you don't want to be thinking "What are other girls like?" in the middle of a low in your relationship. You won't cheat, but that's not going to make your relationship stronger either.
If you know you've seen it all, not only can you know better when to make a commitment, but you'll also never get thoughts like that.
That's one of the reasons why guys who marry young very often end up divorcing I think.

I think sometimes in can be the opposite. If you only get to fuck bitches at parties while they are drunk, and they don't give you the time of day later...it might actually have the opposite effect of a boost in self-esteem.
The guy might even start thinking he isn't worth a quality girl, only the ones that sleep around at parties.

Re: Saving yourself vs. Getting experienced
I agree that while people with any integrity, won't cheat even if they haven't much experience, but I'm certain that if you've only been with your current there are times, when the sex gets dull, that you'll really start wondering what sex with some other fox would be like.
If I could choose, I'd take lots of experience myself, but I'd have a partner that was a virgin.
Yeah that's right, sue me :P

Taking people's virginity can be somewhat rewarding, but at a certain point, I would feel the need to find someone who knows what they're doing. I haven't hit that point yet, but it's a possibility.
A serious relationship.
You can seriously have a one night relationship. :D
I get where you're coming from. I have quite a few friends who share that ideology. I guess it could give you experience in terms of maintaining a stable relationship.

Re: Saving yourself vs. Getting experienced
Before I post this, I want to point out I don't have any mad admiration of Tucker Max, but I was in the middle of reading one of his posts and thought you might be able to take something from it
"Whether you are a man or a woman, there is nothing at all wrong with wanting to have a lot of sex. I want to especially emphasize this: If you are a woman, having a lot of sex does NOT automatically make you a whore. As long as you are honest with the other person about what you want, you are safe (this means condoms for guys) and responsible (and birth control for girls), and you do it for the right reasons, sex is a very good thing and you should not be ashamed of it at all.
The only way you will be truly happy is to figure out what your desires are, and then act on them in a safe, responsible manner. If you want to have sex, then go out and have sex. If you don't, that's OK too, both positions are right in their own way. The last thing I am advocating is a specific course of action; what I am saying is that you need to figure out what is right for you, and do that. It is your life, not anyone elses, who the fuck are they to tell you what you should and should not do? As a general rule, if you enjoy something and it's not hurting anyone else, then you have every right to keep doing it, and fuck anyone who disagrees.
Now, if you are female and take a liberated approach to sex, there is no question that some of your friends will not like it and they will castigate you for it. FUCK'EM. Get new friends. No real friend would ever get down on you for doing something that makes you happy. Chances are, if you are having a lot of sex (and are being responsible about it) and they have an issue with it, it's not you they are criticizing, it is themselves, they are just taking it out on you.
As you get older you'll see this more and more: whenever you pursue your dreams and goals, even something small like personal pleasure, some people will shit on you for it. 95% of the time, this will be because they are jealous that they aren't doing it themselves. Watching you be happy doing what pleases you only makes them realize that they aren't doing the same thing, but instead of turning that anger inwards and changing what sucks about their life, they will turn it outwards and react against you. People like that suck, cut them out of your life. You should always strive to surround yourself with people who root for you, not against you, people who enhance your life and who bring something to the table, not people who take from it (and of course, you should strive to be one of those people also)."

Re: Saving yourself vs. Getting experienced
Well, I've never been with someone that I wasn't damn serious about before. I've had a couple almost encounters though (which is to say, if unforseen events hadn't intervened things would have progressed), and those were with women who I really got along with and could communicate with, and had some major chemistry with (for lack of a better term).
I have to be really in tune with someone, or nothing's going to happen. Mainly because I can't read a signal worth a damn. In fact, only once in my life have I met someone that I just intuitively could read. Or at least read well enough to confidently grab her ass without any prompting.

Re: Saving yourself vs. Getting experienced
I am a firm believer in sexual freedom/experimentation. The concept of saving yourself is ludicrous to me, you don't buy the first pair of shoes you try on.
Sex is beautiful and natural. And while it certainly can be special, the actual act itself is nothing special at all, it's just a means of reproduction. I hate how society attaches all the bullshit to sex, it's frustrating.
I feel that as long as all parties involved are consenting, then anything goes. If it makes you happy to sleep with a different person every night, then go for it. I don't see the point in denying yourself. Pleasure can be elusive, so I take it where I can get it.
On the other hand, if it truly feels right to "save" yourself then that's okay too. But a good portion of people who save themselves are doing it because the bible told them to, or because society tells them sex is dirty or wrong. And that's fucking lame.

I think he meant the exact same thing. Apparently he sleeps with a lot of women (though I call spoof on a lot of his articles)
