Does acid have to be kept cold to keep it from deteriorating and going bad? The two people ive gotten it from both said so, but some people say you dont need to. im just not trying to risk losing any to try it.

it dont need to be just put it in a safe cool dry place like in a desk just out of the light and heat

Short term, it's not necessary, unless of course your house is hot and humid.

Long term storage, you're going to want to put it in the fridge or freezer wrapped up in foil.
