I did DXM for the first time about 36 hours ago using Delsym. Over a period of an hour I downed half the bottle, which was estimated to be about 450mg of DXM. Seriously, I had the worst night of my life because I threw up and couldn't go to sleep. After I threw up in the morning though, everything started to get better.

Right now everything is ok, but I feel very light and in resemblance to jell-o. My pupils are still dilated a bit and the body feels numb. Is this normal? If it is, how much longer can i expect this to last? It felt really weird typing this as well, it felt like i wasn't the person typing. :(

Yeah that's part of the buzz. You'd have a better time if you didn't do it with cough syrup.. try robogels or something in case you ever want to give it another shot and don't want to puke. and don't underestimate the feeling you'll get from it.

DXM is hard to sleep on. But yeah like Piles of Crack said Delsym is time released DXM. On their website it says the following:
Active Ingredient (in each 5 mL teaspoonful)
Dextromethorphan polistirex equivalent to 30 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide
